Assume I have a ham radio that is rated for 100 watts output. Also assume I have a lightning arrester that connects the coax shield to a ground rod. Will this connection to earth ground block common mode current from crossing the lightning arrester?
 
Do I need to add more context or information to the question?
 
I suggest copy/paste the OP message into a new thread while ensuring the 'Allow AI replies' is set to Yes. If ChatGPT doesn't reply on the new thread, I'll have to investigate to see if I messed up something in the configuration.

I've had to do just that (copy & past into a new thread) the last 3 times I used chat. For some reason I simply forgot to "enable AI." I all three cases I realized it as soon as I posted the thread. lol Then it was "wtf!!!"

Oh well.........onward and upward.
 
I see that I must click "more options" to see that checkbox. Thanks.
