More and more news stories indicate that Bernanke will not be reappointed when his term ends in January of next year. We could either get another Greenspan/Bernanke type of a new verion of Volcker. I personally hope we get a Volcker type in that position. We will need high interest rates to stem the tide of the inevitable inflation caused when all that fresh money sitting in banks begins to circulate.

What does everyone think will be the effect of a new Chairman of the FED will be on metals? Bullish either way? Bearish for one, Bullish for the other?

Yellen will be the new chairman and the only difference between her and Bernanke is that she's got gray hair on the top of her head instead of on her chin. There is a bald joke in here somewhere.

I think PM's will still be a good place for a portion of your portfolio but you've got to stay diversified because we are nothing more than the tail of the dog outside of Washington, and they love to wag us. :judge:
