Stock Market Today

Well, all of that exuberance shown yesterday with the 200 point bounce in the market seems to be all we're going to get with this new round of QE. The Dow is only up 60 or so points and is dropping from there. Volume is a little bit better, but not much. Silver and gold seem to be pretty stable for now but there seems to be an effort to cap them today. I think next week tells the tale.

Oh, at least next week. Looking at recent history, we always zoom - overshoot, then undershoot, then return to "crazy normal". Taking money off the table and putting on stops, to buy back in on the undershoot over-reaction. Again. We still might get a further bump from ECB or PBOC, so it bears watching and using some judgement.

Some smart people don't think oil can't hold these levels and must go down - it might bounce of 100 or so. We'll see about that one too.

Doesn't it look like "someone" is trying to cap silver under 35?
