Second link is interesting. They prevented the sale of the hulk, claiming it was ecologically-damaging waste; but then, they ALSO blocked the sale of undamaged BMWs that had been written off - mandating they be scrapped (ecologically-harmful waste) rather than sold to users.

That is the modern Greens. They're watermelons - Green on the surface, Red to the core. And what they want is POWER.

All this is illustrative of WHY manufacturers never, before Woke and onerous government demands and incentives...why they never made these things commercially.

They cost more than consumers can afford. The performance, the technology, is not developed enough.

AND they are a menace to health and to property...property like homes with attached garages, car-carrying ships, public parking ramps, and anyone unfortunate enough to be caught inside one when it does light off.
