I got that style with my last faucets. I think it is a neat invention, but my wife did not. She said you would have to put your hand in dirty water to open the drain. (Me: so what?)

I replaced two Delta faucets in the master bath. One leaked and I couldn't get the cross threaded dealybob off, so I bought two to match the sinks.

I bet it's the EPA cause the new faucets are restricted in the amount of water that flows. There's a tube inside that guides the water to the plastic spigot. Old faucets were chrome metal and would clean out a razor pretty fast.
