Relax Ag will go back up. But you signed up for this stomach churning roller coaster ride, so enjoy it.
 
Market manipulation of PM prices did not effect the amount of PM people have. Will people react foolishly to the price manipulation?

PM's are not the casino.
 
It's going to take a few months for Au & Ag to make new highs again. There is at least one of these drops every years. I went through this last year and rode a bunch of gains down only to reclaim them plus a lot more. You cannot time the paper market and many of my equities are leveraged where stop losses are mostly ineffective.

If you have cash it's a good time to rotate, add or build new positions.
 
I am not surprised this happened on a Friday. Are the Chinese markets open at this time, 10am eastern?

Smells like total manipulation.

I just googled what time is it in China and it's nearly midnight on Friday, at 1056am EST.

Yeah, this has greasy finger prints and reeks of fat cigar smoke all over it. A naval armada heading to Iran and a huge silver dump at the same time ? Yeah sure, they dont even bother caring what we think anymore. Or what we know.

This is like when beef prices were skyrocketing in the early 70s when Nixon put in price controls and vlew the market up.
