Multiple saucers surrounded their home, flooding it with beams of light that heated the house “like an oven,” filled the air with the smell of sulfur, and left the terrified family hiding with their children.
The APRO Bulletin reported the case under the headline “Family Besieged by Discs”—a story so vivid it’s believed to have inspired Steven Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Later investigations uncovered physical traces, witnesses from neighboring farms, and reports of strange residue at the site.
