Annual Meeting Davos 2023 - Cooperation in a Fragmented World

Nov 10, 2022

  • The Annual Meeting 2023 will take place in Davos, Klosters from 16-20 January.
  • The theme of the meeting is 'Cooperation in a Fragmented World'.
  • The meeting will bring together 2,700 leaders from 130 countries including 52 heads of state/government.

Cooperation in a Fragmented World

Under the theme 'Cooperation in a Fragmented World', the Annual Meeting 2023 will bring together more than 2,700 leaders from government, business and civil society, at a pivotal time for the world.

Multiple crises are deepening divisions and fragmenting the geopolitical landscape. Leaders must address people’s immediate, critical needs while also laying the groundwork for a more sustainable, resilient world by the end of the decade.

“We see the manifold political, economic and social forces creating increased fragmentation on a global and national level. To address the root causes of this erosion of trust, we need to reinforce cooperation between the government and business sectors, creating the conditions for a strong and durable recovery. At the same time there must be the recognition that economic development needs to be made more resilient, more sustainable and nobody should be left behind,” said Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman, World Economic Forum.

The programme of the 53rd Annual Meeting focuses on solutions and public-private cooperation to tackle the world’s most pressing challenges. It encourages world leaders to work together on the interconnected issues of energy, climate and nature; investment, trade and infrastructure; frontier technologies and industry resilience; jobs, skills, social mobility and health; and geopolitical cooperation in a multipolar world. Special emphasis is on gender and geographical diversity across all sessions.

WEF Davos Forum 2023 - 5000 troops to provide security

WEF: The Swiss Government Will Deploy 5,000 Troops to Provide Security at the Davos Forum

The Swiss army will deploy 5,000 troops ahead of the World Economic Forum’s next meeting in Davos. Authorities indicated the troops were authorized to utilize coercive police measures to fulfill their security mission.

“The Federal Parliament has set a ceiling of 5,000 troops who will serve in support during the WEF, which will run from January 10 to 26. Some of them will be stationed directly in Davos, where the annual meeting will be held from January 16 to 20,” the statement read.

According to the statement, other servicemen will provide logistics and air force operations support throughout Switzerland. Soldiers will be authorized to “use coercive police measures to carry out their respective tasks,” the government said.

There will also be snipers on the roofs of most buildings, and in previous years the Swiss Police have shot drones from the sky.

The WEF predicts that soon everyone will be able to ‘rent’ anything they need under the cover of ‘sustainable development’ (SDGs) and ‘saving the planet’ (Net Zero). There is no doubt that the tiny elites who rolled out the Great Reset will own it all.

The number of participants in the forum is currently unknown. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, Ecuadorian President Guillermo Lasso, and Colombian President Gustavo Petro will attend the Davos forum personally, according to the latest information. Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves will also be attending.

Zelensky will also speak at the World Economic Forum’s Davos meeting alongside CNN anchors and NATO chiefs.

Only distinguished delegates were allowed to fly in and out of Davos last year due to a no-fly zone.

too bad the Swiss military just doesn't arrest the whole group now that they're all in one place!

Hmmm, George Soros, pulled out, Klaus Schwab pulled out and now Bill Gates? I wonder if there's going to be a (blame it on Putin) False Flag that takes out the other 2300 so the former can consolidate power?

Organizers struggle to provide escort services so the Davos conference might get less attendance in coming years.

Klown Schlob, apparently, chose to appear - after announcing publicly he would not.

"Health Issues"? Like, chatter over the wires, of a bomb threat? Word out that someone took a contract out on him?

Apparently it's been resolved - I'm glad the good-government Swiss types are so helpful and efficient in protecting their Center for Global Totalitarianism.

Whole lotta peeps not going to make the scene. No biggie.

World witnessing biggest energy crisis in history: IEA chief tells WEF

From the link:

DAVOS: The world is witnessing the biggest energy crisis ever recorded in history, especially after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, according to Fatih Birol, executive director of the International Energy Agency.

Everybody here hold hands together and pray for the giant meteor.

I'm praying Putin finally gets the stones to go after his true enemies.

Nuking Davos off the face of the Earf.

So China can burn whatever they want and the West can't? Meanwhile nuclear energy is a no go. Equity they bring us down to pre Industrial Revolution levels seems to be the plan.

Gotta have a few laughs................

‘I, Lady Sinema, Will Shrink All of Gotham’: Liberals Trash Senator for High-Fiving Manchin While Donning Unusual Outfit

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) defended the filibuster during a panel discussion at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Tuesday and high-fived fellow filibuster-phile Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV).

Sinema, who left the Democratic Party in December, has long drawn heat from the liberal wing of the party over her centrism and her advocacy for the filibuster, an arcane rule that allows a minority of 41 senators to block legislation.

“This is not healthy for democracy,” Sinema said about fighting between Democrats and Republicans at the forum in Switzerland. “So, I think that this is an opportunity for us as a country to look back and say, ‘Is this partisanship serving us?’ I would posit to you that it’s not.”

I'm still laughing.

All one can do is ridicule these ridiculous pubic mobsters anymore. I mean, who could take such a buffoon monkey seriously. I mean seriously...
They are ridiculous, but not in an amusing way.

He is scarcely a buffoon and not a monkey. He's been amazingly effective in getting his agenda put through - his agenda, control of the West's people, through creation of chaos and fear. First, he recruited equally-disturbed persons with resources (Gates and Soros) and then, through foundations and businesses they controlled, fully or partially, they launched a bio-weapon, and when that didn't work, had Big Pharma, full of Woketards installed by ESG investors...had them launch a fake-vaccine that is (so far) 15x as lethal as the failed Chinese virus.

This, to reduce the population, get the Keynesian Leftist governments to print money and direct it at WEF participants' businesses and charities...or at least grow the value of their stock profiles (asset bubbles). They're rich; we're hungry, death is all around and Klown is SO proud.

Trouble in Paradise??

Mutiny erupts among WEF staff over role of ‘Mr Davos’

Founder and chair Klaus Schwab has run forum for 52 years but is now seen by some past and present staff as ‘a law unto himself’

The future of Klaus Schwab – Mr Davos for more than half a century – has become a talking point at this year’s meeting after World Economic Forum employees voiced strong criticism of their chair and the lack of a succession strategy.

A group of current and former WEF staff members who contacted the Guardian said the 82-year-old Schwab was a law unto himself and had surrounded himself with “nobodies” who were incapable of running the organisation he founded in the early 1970s.

“Klaus has been at the helm of the WEF for 52 years. When he was born [in 1938] 122 of the 195 states in the world right now did not even exist. He is completely unaccountable to anyone inside and outside the organisation,” the group said.

“We are a group of current and former employees of the WEF. We want to play our role in fostering debate about the role this organisation plays in the world.”

The group said it wanted to remain anonymous. “We are hesitant to come forward as Klaus is very well connected and can make life very difficult for us even after we leave the WEF.”

Speculation about Schwab’s future has intensified this week after a piece on the online publication Politico said the WEF’s strategic partners – the firms that bankroll the $390m (£315m) a year business – were unhappy about the lack of a succession strategy.

The group of WEF staff members said they had posted their criticisms on the social media platform LinkedIn but they had been removed at the request of the WEF, something the organisation denies.

The posts, shared with the Guardian, said: “There isn’t much of a future for the WEF beyond Klaus not just because there isn’t a clear successor but also because his managing board is such a viper’s nest that senior leadership will be at each other’s throats the moment the old man pops off.”

A WEF spokesperson said: “The board of trustees decides any future institutional leadership appointments. The forum has a strong institutional governance structure in place to ensure its continued ability to fully support its mission.”

Former UK prime minister Tony Blair is one of the leading international figures who has been linked with the role.

The group of past and current WEF employees questioned the ability of the organisation to function without Schwab at the helm.

When in the bylaws your family is crowned the 'successor'...??

In a totalitarian system the ranks always fragment. Remember the periodic purges in the Communist Party USSR? Go from member of the Politburo to gulag inmate in three days, one very-brief show trial.

This "forum" is Klown's property; he can run it as he likes; but as time goes on, it will come to be that HIS vision of what the Little People be forced into, and OTHERS' vision of how to run Hell-on-Earth, will be different.

And these people aren't good at compromise. They're good at barking orders and giving money to goons to enforce them. So, this won't be solved democratically, or by consensus.

Whatever weapon do you have other to to ridicule the buffoon who believes he is soooo superior to the rest of us savages...
Is that a weapon? Or is it self-delusion, that those who ridicule are actually doing anything at all?

My own take: Since I have no practical reprisal, the best solution for survival is NOT to draw attention to myself. Become the Grey Man.

It may be self delusion for you, but to me it's a positive step prior to violence to righting the wrongs thrown at us...

'Absurd that we listen to those causing the climate crisis' in Davos, says Greta Thunberg

Jan 19, 2023

To open the discussion, Thunberg told the audience it is 'absurd' that in Davos 'we are listening to the people who are mainly causing the climate crisis, rather than those on the frontline'. She explained: 'We are being bombarded by messages by these people, those responsible for the destruction of the planet.' Thursday is the penultimate day of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. 1:30

Kerry's speech. Who's sponsoring this sheet? Timothy Leary?

I'd hit it to find out!
I wouldn't do her with your joint.

She's not only a spoiled brat and autistic, she's an absolute pig. I think it was Rebel News, found the car she rented while she was on a "speaking tour" in Canada. I couldn't rent a car at 16, but when the rental agency is Woked-up by Black Rock, you make exceptions when the kid is a VIP to the WEF. Photographed the inside of the car...half-eaten junk food and candy crap all OVER the inside.

No WAY would I enter into a relationship with some...purported female...like that. Not even a 40-minute relationship.
