Hi,
Any one know of any GOOD local coin seller in or near Austin, TX ? Internet search doesn't yield much.
Thx

Not from Austin, but when I was there on a Friday in late October 2008 (on the day of the stock market crash) I bought some gold at a dealer in a flea market in North Austin under the Texas National Freeway. He seemed to have a permanent location there. Gold had also crashed and was about $700 on that day. I just wish I had spent all of my money when I was there instead of about $700.

Anyone actually from Austin, that can provide first hand input?

I live about 45 north-west of Austin (grew up in Austin, more or less). I understand McBrides gun shop had a pretty good selection on coins/PM's. The joke at work was (I was in a coma for a month, in St. Davids hospital on 38th street, across from McBrides) "Hey Jay, MBrides has a lot of coins and PM's, (it's next door to St. Davids). Do you know how to get there? And my other co-worker said, "Yeah, just call a helicopter...." :)
