Tonight at 11:23 we hope to launch an Atlas V rocket from LC 41 on its way to deploy a new GPS satellite. The launch window is pretty short, with only 18 minutes, but since weather is likely to cooperate by that time, it's up to ULA to not fuck anything up on their end. I believe Range Safety is dialed up and controllers are green right now, so if you're on the East Coast, or near enough to Florida [400 miles or so] it should be a cool light show.:wave:
 
The weather cleared up [as per usual after sunset] and launch is go. Range safety is go, OPS is go, TTR/XMTR is go and guidance is nominal [go]. I like it for an on-time launch today. It gets old in the summer when launches push out over and over again. Actually, that's why Space-X is moving their commercial launch division ot Texas, where weather is substantially more predictable than Florida in the summer time.
 
Of course, the launch was fantastic. The shot went up nearly as soon as the window opened.
