‘The system sucks. This job sucks’: ICE lawyer admits to judge that agency is violating court orders

A phrase uttered in a federal courtroom has become emblematic of the current state of the U.S. immigration system. “The system sucks. This job sucks,” said Julie Le, a federal government attorney, before a judge visibly exasperated by repeated violations of court orders during the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown in Minnesota.

Le, an attorney with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) assigned to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Minnesota since January, appeared Tuesday before District Judge Jerry Blackwell to explain why the government had ignored deadlines and orders requiring the immediate release of several immigrants detained during Operation Metro Surge in Minnesota. According to the court, these were individuals with no criminal records who should never have been arrested and whose release was delayed for days, despite clear and repeated orders.

“A court order is not advisory, and it is not conditional,” Blackwell warned during the hearing in St. Paul. “It is not something that any agency can treat as optional.” The judge emphasized that behind every violation there are people deprived of their liberty, handcuffed and imprisoned, even after a court has ordered their release.

ICE agents complain about their jobs in online forum, report says

Thousands of federal immigration agents have been complaining about their jobs in an online forum, where they blasted “incompetent leadership,” according to a report.

Agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection agencies, part of the Department of Homeland Security, have taken to venting about their frustrations online as they have been placed at the center of the Trump administration’s crackdown.

There are over 5,000 users on the unnamed forum seen by WIRED claiming to be current and former federal immigration agents. There, they complained of the negative public perception of the agencies, long working hours and “incompetent” leadership, according to the outlet.

The outlet noted that users on the forum do not need to prove their employment to join and it had not confirmed the identities of the people posting.

4 Amish men killed

4 Fatality Indiana Truck Crash Exposes Chameleon Carrier Network, Again.

Just before 4 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3, Indiana State Police responded to a collision on State Road 67 near County Road 550 East, about three miles from the Ohio state line, in the kind of flat, open farmland where you can see trouble coming from a mile away.

Gert Pretorius, 44, of Geneva, Indiana, was driving a 2019 International semi eastbound when he slowed for traffic ahead. Behind him, another semi, a 2022 Freightliner driven by 30-year-old Bekzhan Beishekeev of Philadelphia, did not stop.

Instead of braking, Beishekeev swerved left, crossed the center line, and struck a westbound Chevrolet van head-on.

The van was driven by Donald Stipp, 55, of Portland, Indiana. His passengers were four men from Bryant’s close-knit Amish community: Henry Eicher, 50. His sons are Menno Eicher, 25, and Paul Eicher, 19. And Simon Girod, 23, a family friend.

BREAKING: DHS confirms to @FoxNews that a semi-truck driver arrested for causing a head on crash in Indiana that killed 4 people on Tuesday is a Kygryzstani national who entered the US via the Biden administration's CBP One cell phone app on 12/19/2023 at the Nogales, AZ port of entry, and was released into the US via parole by the Biden admin.

Police say 30-year-old Bekzhan Beishekeev was driving on SR 67 in Jay County, Indiana when he didn’t stop for another slowed semi-truck, swerving instead into oncoming traffic and crashing head-on into a van, killing four people, several of whom were reportedly Amish, according to local media.

ICE records show Beishekeev is now in ICE custody, meaning local law enforcement honored a detainer and already handed him over.

A reminder, the Biden era CBP One cell phone app allowed 50,000 to 60,000 otherwise inadmissible aliens to enter the US legally every month for two year humanitarian parole grants. President Trump terminated the program the day he was inaugurated, and has since turned it into a self deportation app.

More to come on this as we get it.

Probably leftists black pilling in a pathetic attempt to steer the narrative. Polls show that the majority of Americans want the trash taken out. And more than 200,000 individuals have expressed interest in joining DHS recently.

The gift that keeps on giving.

Travel, any sort of travel, is getting DANGEROUS. First they Jabbed the airline pilots, who started having coronaries in their layover hotel rooms. Next they started demanding RealID to board Amtrash. I don't know what Greyhound is doing, but I'd be real surprised if they do NOT have Jab requirements for (American) drivers - as well as a whole army of new-hire drivers with licenses that read NAME NOT GIVEN.

And the final straw is, Calitardistan and Gnu Yuck give those CDLS out like door prizes to these 75-IQ invaders the NGOs flew in, with USAID money. Killing...and killing...and killing moar and moar. Now, driving your own family is not safe.

Gee. While the Elites babble on about the beauty of 15-Minute Prison Camps Cities. What a co-WINKY-dink....

Well, many of us knew this time was coming. Time to find a bolt-hole or refuge area, get in it and stay in it.

So, let me see if I've got this straight. When the filthy Kenyan was deporting them, 75% of the deportees never saw a judge and there was no problem. But when President Trump wants to do it, the left cries like babies.

NEW💥: The Trump administration has REFUSED to comply with a federal court order demanding due process for 252 Venezuelan migrants—alleged gang members deported to El Salvador under the Alien Enemies Act—calling it judicial overreach.

The Justice Department rejected options to return them or facilitate hearings abroad as legally impossible and a national security risk, vowing immediate appeal if the order is enforced.

The standoff with Obama-appointed Judge James Boasberg highlights contrasts to the Obama era, when 75% of deportees (313,000 in fiscal 2012 alone) never saw a judge—with no similar court interference.

Judge's ruling unloads on Trump DHS for detaining US citizens by 'mistake' for months

It has been five months since Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh claimed that Americans and documented individuals weren't being detained by federal agents, but a GOP-appointed U.S. District Court judge authored an opinion calling it outright wrong.

Judge Thomas E. Johnston, out of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, a George W. Bush appointee, wrote in a decision, “Today, immigrants are being detained without due process. Tomorrow, under the Government’s interpretation of the law, American citizens could be subject to the same ... This Court will not allow such an unraveling of the Constitution.”

“Today, immigrants are being detained without due process. Tomorrow, under the Government’s interpretation of the law, American citizens could be subject to the same ... This Court will not allow such an unraveling of the Constitution.”
No, ILLEGAL immigrants, and they have arrest orders for them.

In fact, there is no court order needed to arrest any illegal immigrant. Any time they come to be known, they are immediately subject to arrest and detainment.

That's why there is the ruckus in Minnesota like there is. When the local PD and courts won't work with ICE to deport illegals who have been arrested for other crimes, and instead release them back into the community to commit more crimes, it forces ICE into neighborhoods to find them.

That's when they inevitably run into other illegal aliens who then get arrested too.
Edited to add: because it turns out that illegals mostly live with and congregate with other illegal aliens. Who knew, huh?

If they turned over the criminal illegals, ICE wouldn't encounter so many other illegals, and therefore not arrest them.
Edited to add: kinda hard to arrest them if ICW doesn't cross paths with them in their hunt for the illegals released from jail.

The way it seems now, is that the idiot protestors and their supporters are apparently too dumb to understand that, or they like having illegal aliens around who are commiting other crimes too.

Also, that a judge can't differentiate between legal and illegal immigrants is astonishing.
