DOJ moves to drop charges against men arrested after Minneapolis ICE shooting

By Kanishka Singh

WASHINGTON, Feb 12 (Reuters) - The U.S. Justice Department has moved to drop charges against two men charged with assaulting Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers in Minneapolis in January after an officer shot a Venezuelan immigrant, a court document showed on Thursday.

The top federal prosecutor in Minnesota, Daniel Rosen, asked a judge to dismiss the charges, writing that "newly discovered evidence in this matter is materially inconsistent with the allegations." Rosen sought the dismissal with prejudice, which means the charges cannot be reintroduced.

The shooting that wounded the Venezuelan man, Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis, came during President Donald Trump's widely condemned surge of immigration enforcement actions in Minnesota.

It's time for the Insurrection Act.

And 500-man (or, 500-Cluster-B Wombyn) gallows. For all the Key Government Persons.

Time for a mass Treason trial.

And just to get the point across, find the greenest 2LT in the operation, to preside over the summary court-martial.

They'll get a fair trial...speedy and public, and hanged with all due diligence.

Courts have ruled 4,400 times that ICE jailed people illegally. It hasn’t stopped.

  • Detained immigrants have filed more than 20,000 lawsuits seeking their release
  • Trump administration continues detentions despite court rulings
  • Sheer scale of the lawsuits threatens to clog the judicial system
  • About 700 Justice Department attorneys deployed to represent the government in immigration cases
WASHINGTON, Feb 14 (Reuters) - Hundreds of judges around the country have ruled more than 4,400 times since October that President Donald Trump’s administration is detaining immigrants unlawfully, a Reuters review of court records found.

The decisions amount to a sweeping legal rebuke of Trump’s immigration crackdown. Yet the administration has continued jailing people indefinitely even after courts ruled the policy was illegal.

So they are saying the 4,400 were not illegal immigrants? That they were citizens or otherwise legal residents with green cards?

Or that some nit picky judges are doing legal gymnastics to come up with ways to free illegal immigrants?

Just using the generic term "immigrants" leaves it unclear as to what is actually going on in these cases. What kind of immigrants we talkin'?

We see it now, with the Epstein revelations.

The Left, including most Dumbo cracks...are variously Satanic, or mind-controlled, or both.

Survey Shows that Workers at ICE & CBP Have Little/No Confidence in Integrity of their Leadership

Feb 14, 2026
There's a blockbuster new survey out that's not getting enough attention. The rank can file at ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and CBP Customs and Border Patrol) were surveyed about their views on the leadership at those two agencies. Survey results showed that the rank-and-file at ICE and CBP have little to no confidence in the integrity of their leadership.
That survey was done by a great nonprofit organization called Partnership for Public Service, and I just sat down with its president and founder Max Stier to talk about these important and telling survey results.

Federal judge rules Kilmar Abrego Garcia can't be re-detained by immigration authorities

Immigration and Customs Enforcement cannot re-detain Kilmar Abrego Garcia because a 90-day detention period has expired and the government has no viable plan for deporting him, a federal judge ruled on Tuesday.

The Salvadoran national’s case has become a focal point in the immigration debate after he was mistakenly deported to his home country last year. Since his return, he has been fighting a second deportation to a series of African countries proposed by Department of Homeland Security officials.

Okay.

I believe it.

...I mean, it's not as if they'd stage MAGA-hat-wearing operatives; or even do impromptu agitprop-street theatre...

Yes, the dumb little pitch started kicking his vehicle.
.....and no, he wasn't driving on the sidewalk.

The ignorant kid was in the street blocking traffic and got PO'd because she wasn't getting her way. So started kicking his truck. At which point he got out and (rightfully) made her stop doing that.

Are you gonna just let some punk ass kid just start damaging your vehicle? That might have been a $60 thousand dollar vehicle she was kicking. Dumb pitch shoulda got her head handed to her. You can't just go around damaging peoples stuff just cause they don't agree with your ignorant views on things.

Commit adult crimes, get treated like an adult. She knew what she was doing was wrong, but felt justified in doing it anyways.

"It was clearly a difference of opinion on the immigration issue. That is what started the verbal altercation between the two primary parties. Then the juvenile ended up kicking the adult's truck. He got out of the truck, and that is when that physical altercation started," said Officer Matt Schima with the Buda Police Department."

Yea. He made the little pitch stop kicking his truck.

It doesn't matter.

If you're not Left, you're wrong.

It's civil war; and what we're facing is brainwashed, mind-controlled army ants. In the streets and running mediuh.

Can't agree more. That's why I think Watts is labeled as the primary aggressor. A 45 year old man arguing with a high school girl he doesn't know, about something neither of them have any control over, speaks volumes.

As for the kid kicking Watts ride she shouldn't have done it but for him to get out of the truck and physically attack the kid also speaks volumes.

Had that happened around here Watts would not fare too well with the law.

Be interesting to see how this plays out.

BTW............thanks for fact checking the post.

Hey Joe.................what's up with MAGA psychos attacking school kids. You've got grown men wearing red hats, driving around in pick up trucks and attacking school kids for expressing views they don't like. I don't get it.

ICE isn't gonna help them. Trump don't know they exist. But they are running around loose defending stuff that is undefendable.

WTF??????????

Who is Michael Brown? Man defending ICE arrested after school fight

A man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a boy who was part of a group of high school students engaging in a walkout in protest of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Michael Brown, 54, of Grand Island, Nebraska, was arrested for child abuse. A boy has also been cited for assault in connection with the incident.

Why It Matters

Clashes between anti-ICE protesters and the public have increased in recent weeks, as students have held walkouts in states across the country to protest immigration enforcement. Earlier this month, a Texas man wearing a MAGA hat attacked a female student during a walkout.

Working EXACTLY according to plan.

Dump these hominid aliens into Middle America.

Middle America clamors for relief - for enforcement of the law and deportations.

Chaos ensues.

Stage is set for either real mistakes and/or agitprop or false reporting.

Blame the chaos on the persons trying to clean things up.

This is your DemoMarxist Party.

She started the whole incident, not him.

Had he not gotten out to confront her, she'd have disappeared into the crowd and he'd be left with a damaged vehicle. He had a Right to drive down that street, but the students had no Right to block traffic.

We've all seen vids of people inside cars that are surrounded by angry mobs kicking and beating their vehicles due to the people inside holding differing opinions.

In situations like that, I am 100% in favor of the occupants of the vehicle doing anything they feel necessary in that moment to secure their own safety.

If that means getting out and beating shooting stabbing the attackers, or just flooring it and running them over, it's 100% justified IMHO.

WTF is up with school officials letting kids walk out of class? Especially for stuff they have no control over?

It's not as though anyone would say, "oh, the kids are skipping class, so we better change the immigration laws".

That's called called skipping class and unexcused absence and should be punished.
