The crony element is really well done imho. Pretty much what all the Ron Paul supporters complain about: You can buy off both parties and when civil unrest starts kicking in / approval ratings plummet, you just change the party of the puppet in charge.
 
Interestingly, if you play through a second time, you can build human burning factories?! :rotflmbo:
