Gold, Silver, Platinum & Copper Market Update | Precious Metals Weekly Report 2026

May 23, 2026
Welcome back to Joseph’s Reserves. In this weekly precious metals and commodities market update, we break down the latest action across gold, silver, platinum, palladium, and copper — plus the key ratios that reveal what’s really happening beneath the surface.
Most investors focus only on price, but the real story is in the relationships between metals. In this video, we dive deep into the gold-to-silver ratio, gold-to-platinum ratio, platinum-to-silver trends, and what they may be signaling about the current commodities cycle.
In this week’s report:
Gold price action and long-term structure
Silver’s volatility and continued outperformance phases
Platinum’s attempt to build a long-term base
Palladium’s ongoing decline and structural weakness
Copper’s strength and what it signals about global industrial demand
Key ratio analysis: gold/silver, gold/platinum, platinum/silver, platinum/palladium
We also discuss whether we may still be in the early stages of a broader secular commodities cycle and why capital may be rotating back into hard assets like precious metals and industrial commodities.
Whether you're stacking gold and silver, investing in commodities, or tracking macroeconomic cycles, this weekly update helps you stay grounded in the bigger picture.
