Splash Wrap: ‘Ships of the world, start your engines’

Vessel tracking services recorded 17 transits through the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday, with two more logged in the early hours of Friday, tentative signs of life in a waterway that has been effectively shut for nearly four months. But the diplomatic architecture underpinning the US-Iran memorandum of understanding is already showing fractures, and industry bodies are warning shipowners to hold back until passage can be guaranteed as safe, not just permitted. The MOU, brokered by Pakistan and signed late Wednesday, established a 60-day negotiating window and led the Splash site for most of the week.

42 Blue Trucks, 67 Stores, 1 Gas Station Where It Started

Premiered 11 hours ago #trucking #bulkfreight #wallis
Today we're in Cuba, Missouri, the heart of Route 66, where Bill Wallis bought a single gas station in 1968 and built it into Wallis Companies: a fully integrated fuel distribution, trucking, and retail operation running 42 trucks, 67 stores, and 1,400 employees.
We sat down with Matt Jones, who started as a driver and worked his way up to running the transport division, to talk about the one-of-a-kind Freightliner cabover in a Peterbilt fleet, the Covid pivot that pushed them into bulk freight, their Missouri Trucking Association safety award, and the culture that keeps people here for decades.

Former Hedge Fund Partner Reveals The Ultimate Wall Street SCAM: They Know What's Coming

Jun 20, 2026 Sit Down with Michael Franzese
Today, I’m sitting down with Drew Day, the President and Founder of Base Camp Trading. Drew started out on the inside. He was a partner at a massive hedge fund, rubbing shoulders with the guys who always seem to know what's coming before everyone else. But unlike the George Soros types who just want to bankrupt the middle class, Drew couldn't stomach the greed. He walked away from it all to bring those patented, insider strategies straight to you—the everyday person.
In this episode, we pull back the curtain on how the financial elite actually operate, why your 401k advisor doesn't care if you lose money, and what you can do TODAY to stop being the "dumb money" they prey on. Drew is a brilliant guy who built a $50,000 account to $58,000 in a single month, and he’s here to teach you how to take control of your financial destiny.
If you’re tired of inflation eating your savings and the system taking advantage of you, you cannot miss this conversation.
