From what I've heard the old dude taken into custody wasn't the shooter. Supposedly he / she is still at large.

Looks like a high velocity rifle shot.

We have to find these shits. And quickly. Assign an army of Bulls out there, I dont care what it costs.

No place for political violence even if the Left always seems to get away with it. 200 yrds is a chip shot for a decent rifleman.

Looks as if a guy was on the roof across from the stage.

It was 400 ft at the most

This is important.

Someone in the crowd confessed to the shooting immediately after it happened, despite not having a weapon? Why?

Does this mean they were a decoy, and this was a joint operation?

They have now apprehended multiple people, yet the shooter is still at large.

An eyewitness claims that the shot was fired immediately after someone asked Charlie Kirk about trans violence and that he believes there were several people in on it.

Did they wait for this specific question?

The FBI and Kash Patel need to get to the bottom of this horrific crime as soon as possible.

They cannot be allowed to get away with this.

A Deep State hit, fer-shur. IMHO.

They want us to blow up and riot - so they can lock the whole nation down, again. And basically put us in open-air prisons.

Lotta possible reasons.

- mentally ill
- notoriety
- political hate
- foreign gov hit

Hopefully we'll find out once the shooter is caught.

Malcolm goes on a bit of a rant here but he makes sense.

Charlie Kirk would have been president. His friends knew it. His admirers knew it. And his enemies knew it.

This universal confidence in Charlie’s future began with his countless political accomplishments. At 18, he founded Turning Point USA, which went on to become the most important cultural organization on the American Right. By 22, he was addressing the Republican National Convention. Three years later, he founded Turning Point Action, which led the get-out-the-vote efforts that delivered the first Republican popular vote victory in twenty years. In his spare time, Charlie published five books, hosted a national talk show, married a lovely wife, and fathered two beautiful children. All of that by 31.

Charlie’s appearance inspired as much confidence as his accomplishments. At a towering six-foot-five slouching, he joked that he had descended from the Nephilim—the giant “fallen ones” of the Old Testament. He might have been born with such a nature, as are we all, but he was not content to remain so. Charlie loved his Savior. The zeal with which he debated politics paled in comparison to the excitement with which he discussed religion. And his religious life bore fruit.

Turning Point launched a Faith division to focus specifically on his followers’ souls. There too, Charlie’s enthusiasm for open debate set the tone, as he invited atheists and even Catholics to take part. But he didn’t need a specific religious conference to convey his faith. Charlie Kirk’s religion bore fruit in everything he did.

Discerning observers believed in Charlie Kirk, not chiefly for his accolades or his appearance, but for his manifest virtue. Charlie’s prudence, the principal virtue in politics, built a generational coalition that helped to transform the American government. His temperance distinguished him as one of the few on the Right to eschew whisky, cigars, and every other delight that might have distracted him from his purpose, for which he had so little time. His sense of justice produced clarity in moral vision and grace for his opponents. His fortitude impelled him to enter the public square without a hint of servile fear.

Charlie’s only fear was the holy sort—awe and wonder, the beginning of wisdom—and his clearest virtues were theological: faith, hope, and charity. We mourn his death, we take up his cause, and we entrust him, as he confidently entrusted himself, to God’s care.

Lotta possible reasons.
Only reason is ten years of a certain political group falsely labeling their opponents as nazis and fascists and threats to the nation. For brainwashing their followers into believing their potus was a foreign agent.

Unfortunately, anyone who believed and spread those lies, is part of the reason why this happened.

Too many radicals on the left took those lies to heart.

Those branding others as nazis and fascists have absolutely no clue what they are talking about.

It's a false dichotomy.

All they've done is put a label on some one or some thing. It doesn't mean that that someone or thing IS any thing like that.

It's akin to calling the Japanese '<redacted - see forum guidelines on epithets>s', or Italians 'spicks'... et al

Labels are used to separate us into groups to revile or hate. All reasoning stops after the label is accepted as fact.

We're all Americans.

My son is 18.
He loved listening to Charlie Kirk.
He was heartbroken to hear of Charlie’s death.

But there was one thing I have to share that I know Charlie would love …

One of my son’s closest friends is a Leftist who has said some crazy stuff in general. My conservative son has tried reasoning with him, debating him, but keeping his cool no matter what stupid thing his friend said. Today after the horrible news broke, his friend finally saw the reality of his own party, and they had the best conversation they’ve ever had.

When he told me this I cried again because even in death, Charlie is helping young people figure things out. ❤️🙏🏻

You are making assumptions about the shooter. It might not have anything at all to do with American left right theater.
Yea, it is also possible that Donald Duck did it too.

This is just one more example of what labeling your opponents as evil and nazis, leads to.

Democrats, and their supporters that blindly have hung on every their every word, have blood on their hands.

Every person expressing any enjoyment over this should be doxxed and lose their jobs and made homeless.

Then Trump can put 'em in camps where animals like them belong.

After all, they are a threat to our democracy.

I have seen plenty of commentary suggesting that this was a hit carried out by Israel because CK crossed some taboo lines (raising issues Israel doesn't want raised re: Gaza, Epstein, etc. in a high profile way). I have no idea if any of that speculation is valid, but it is a plausible scenario that has nothing to do with left right theater. If the shooter really did escape on a plane that went transponder dark for a while as I've read, it's hard to imagine that this was some deranged lefty lone wolf. $.02
