Adam did a great job with this guy. I knew China was advancing but this guy lays it all out.
I give Trump credit for wanting to bring manufacturing back to the US but at this point we are so far behind we will never catch up. IMO

They will open but probably with robots.

There are a whole host of problems in the US. The biggest one is our politics. When you look at the big picture it looks like the left wants to destroy the US and the right wants it to thrive again. My guess is that China and maybe some other countries are also influencing how we move forward. It would allow them to not have so much competition.

Another obstacle is our "Diversity" To be polite. We have welfare mommas popping out democrats to keep themselves on a system that shouldn't even exist. Then these hood rats get into our schools and destroy learning for all. Everything is brought down to the lowest common denominator so they can graduate.

Then we have our elections so often that we really cant implement any long term plans. Thats a huge one as well. How can we build anything when this administration has to spend so many resources to undo the damage from the last administration?

In China this guest says that if you haven't been there since 2019 or earlier, it is a different country. He's lived there for 30 years and even he cant believe the speed at which things are changing there. In 6 years they did 30 years worth of change.

In the US we have Ca working on a high speed rail line that has barely even started and we are billions into it. China builds a massive shipping port in Peru in 3 years for 65 billion. Cost of the high speed rail which has barely begun is estimated to go to about 135 billion.

Whats really impressive is Chinas energy build outs. 28 nukes plants being built. The US is just now starting it's 1st one in like 30 years.

He also says China's not interested in conflict with the US. They just want to do business. Says the US and China will probably divide up the world in an east west fashion. No wars needed.

Anyway, really good interview and eye opening.

Unless China dumps the CCP on its arse (by way of aerial deployment without a parachute) AND somehow reverses the demographic collapse caused by said CCP (think one child policy), they are toast.

I go to China one every three months, have done so since 2017. The transformation is superficial, ever more polish on a decaying turd. The only real "advancements" they have made are the surveillance state/social credit system that has enslaved the country.

Having said that, my last trip has come and gone. I won't be going back, ever.
