Respect The Hustle, I Don't See Them Begging

Yeah. I guess USAID lives, in another guise. Paying for all this filth. Elsewhere, I downloaded a podcast - a chipper young woman snarkily complaining that such a noble government office as USAID, was shut down by those nasty Fascistrepublicans. All USAID ever DID, was help people helping poor nations and global poverty...no, Trump wants that money for HIMSELF.

I can believe nothing from the nooze institutions. Nothing on websites that pop up yesterday, either. The onboard BS Detector is dialed up to 11.

That said, I'm getting tired of Trump's being played through his ignorance of money and his inability to judge people. Those behind him, don't seem much better than those opposing him. AND he's getting a lot of bad advice - BAD advice, especially in foreign affairs.

Top EU official warns the US against interfering in Europe's affairs

BRUSSELS (AP) — A top European Union official on Monday warned the United States against interfering in Europe’s affairs and said only European citizens can decide which parties should govern them.

European Council President Antonio Costa’s remarks came in reaction to the Trump administration’s new national security strategy, which was published on Friday and paints European allies as weak while offering tacit support to far-right political parties.

Flags of Inconvenience

For more than two centuries, the United States has relied on maritime trade to support its national interests. The Navy keeps the seas open, but an underappreciated fleet of ships supports commercial interests in peacetime, and their mariners faithfully answer the call to defend the nation at war.

The Merchant Marine fueled an economic revolution in the United States. It helped power the nation’s rise to great-power status and supported its decisive victory in World War II. However, in the years immediately following the war, the size and influence of the U.S. Merchant Marine drastically declined. The rapid globalization of the economy, expansion of multinational industries, and increasing environmental and labor requirements in industrialized economies pushed ship owners to reduce risk and save costs. Today, most registered merchant ships operate under flags of convenience issued by a short list of mostly small nations. To ensure a self-sustaining Merchant Marine capable of supporting economic and national security interests, the United States must take action to rebuild and replenish a neglected skilled workforce and aging fleet.

It's obvious once you understand this.

A collapsing empire. In a small nation, there would be curfews and rations, prohibited assemblies. In a massive multistate empire, which is the whole of the "West"...there is going to be incessant expensively-produced-and-channeled propaganda; there's going to be manipulation of the capital markets. There will be (there always is, in tyranny) dishonest government reports, and constant nudging and herding of the citizen-subjects. Now, in ways that seem likely to cause loss or injury or social disintegration.

To protect the Status Quo for an aging, increasingly-senile Gerontocracy.

Just moar proof...prison doesn't work.

I'm not a big supporter of the Ollie Snackbars...but they do have the right idea with their criminals. Of which they have relatively few.

FLOGGINGS. MAIMINGS, for more-serious crimes. And for crimes that cannot be tolerated in society (including but not limited to homicide) FAST, MESSY, PUBLIC EXECUTIONS.

Prison, to them, is where offenders wait - to find out if they're going to have a hand cut off, or the head cut off.

This warehousing of persons unable to abide by basic laws, who contribute nothing but disorder, injury and fear...has to stop. THEY have to stop. The Left so loves the Malthusian edicts - why don't we start reducing the population by reducing the PRISON populations?

WSJ: US plan to reintegrate Russia into global economy sparks clash with Europe

The administration of US President Donald Trump has recently provided its European counterparts with a series of documents outlining its vision for Ukraine's recovery and the reintegration of Russia into the global economy.

Details: The US plan is set out in annexes to current peace proposals on Ukraine, which have not been made public yet but were described to The Wall Street Journal by US and European officials.

The documents outline in detail plans by American financial firms and other companies to use approximately US$200 billion in frozen Russian assets for projects in Ukraine, including the construction of a new major data centre powered by the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, which is currently under Russian occupation.

So she's convicted in a state court and T acts as though he can pardon her. Be interesting to see how things turn out.

Trump says he’s just pardoning Tina Peters convicted in state court

President Trump on Thursday pardoned former Colorado clerk Tina Peters, who was convicted of election interference in state court in August 2024.

“Tina is sitting in a Colorado prison for the ‘crime’ of demanding Honest Elections,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. “Today I am granting Tina a full Pardon for her attempts to expose Voter Fraud in the Rigged 2020 Presidential Election!”

The decision comes after Trump pressured Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D) for months to free Peters, threatening “harsh measures” if not.

She's got no place to talk - looking at how easily the Aussies were locked down, locked up, and Jabbed to, in many cases, death.

WHILE their nation is being overrun. With the Chin.

I get the irritation, but that's only of regional dialects and grammar choices. She farms cattle at a cattle station (what they call ranches). Texans herd cattle at a cattle ranch. She buys petrol for her ute. Texans buy gas, or diesel, for their bro-dozers.

Different continent, different dialect. Deal with it, or don't go online.

Mate, I'm an Aussie & I think she is 1 of the most annoying, so far up her own arse she can see daylight, fucking Bitch that I have heard, do her little rant, in quite some time

I'm certainly not going to apologize for some Dumb Bitch ( Karen ) ranting on Tik-Tok. Just ignore & move on Mate

Trump leans into isolation as challenges mount at home

The Trump administration, amid a series of foreign and domestic challenges, is redoubling its efforts to blame an array of outside forces for America’s problems and enact policies that block those influences from crossing U.S. borders.

Last week, the United States halted immigration applications from 19 countries. Shortly after, the administration announced an expanded travel ban covering more than 30 countries — “every damn country that’s been flooding our nation with killers, leeches, and entitlement junkies,” in the words of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi L. Noem.

And on Wednesday, Border Protection officials proposed requiring visitors from U.S. allies to provide up to five years of their social media history, a move that could discourage tourists.

2 Students Killed and 9 Injured in Brown University Shooting

Here’s what to know.

Hundreds of police officers swarmed the streets near Brown University late Saturday, shining flashlights into parked cars in search of a gunman who opened fire in a campus building, killing two students and injuring nine more.

Officials indicated that they had not identified the attacker, who escaped onto the streets of Rhode Island’s capital. They planned to release a video shortly that shows the gunman leaving the scene of the attack, though his face is not visible.

“If anybody should recognize this person in any way — seen him earlier, recognize his gait — obviously, we want to know about that,” said Deputy Chief Timothy O’Hara of the Providence police.

Much of Providence remained on edge hours after the attack, which began during a final exam review session for a large economics class, with residents staying behind locked doors as the search stretched into the night. Many students hid in dorms, while others took shelter in the basement of a popular tea shop.

Mayor Brett Smiley of Providence said at a news conference late Saturday that officials had identified a ninth victim who was injured by “fragments,” in addition to the eight who were shot and taken to the hospital in critical condition. The university later said that all of the victims were students.

Here are the details:

Where it happened: The shooting happened during a final exam review session for a Principles of Economics class, according to the class’s professor, Rachel Friedberg. The classroom was on the first floor of the Barus and Holley engineering and physics building. The authorities said the gunman exited the building on the Hope Street side.

City at a standstill: Many restaurants and businesses in Providence closed early on Saturday, including the downtown mall. Mayor Smiley said an official shelter-in-place order only applied to Brown’s campus and the surrounding neighborhood, however. “We have no reason to believe that there is any particular threat beyond the campus area,” he said.

Chaotic situation: University officials sent at least two incorrect alerts to students and faculty members, saying at one point that a suspect had been taken into custody before reversing that, then reporting around 5:30 p.m. that more shots had been fired off campus close to Governor Street. They later backtracked and said that report was also incorrect.

Think about the money we've spent in Ukraine, the middle east and else where in support of other people. Ask yourself if you as an individual American taxpayer has benefited. Be honest with yourself. Do you have cheap health care like other countries in the industrialized world? Do you have a great government retirement plan? Is your cost of living reasonable? Are you getting ahead or just treading water? How about debt?

Funny thing...........you aren't the one responsible for spending money on never ending wars. It's the people we have elected. They talk about America first then turn around and ship your money overseas. In some cases that money goes to people who literally hate our guts and want to see us blown off the planet.

WTF madness is this!?!?

None of this was to benefit the "People."

It was to enrich Congress-cretins, who both reflexively cheerlead the MIC - twisted jingoism - and add to their Insider Trading haul. Case study: Goober Graham.

The Deep State works to foment Forever War because that's their environment. In peace, they shrivel and die from lack of resources. In conflict, they get richer as they get sneakier.

They recruit stooges like the Vindman traitor-brothers and Fat Vicky Nuland. They and a thousand more moles, need to be dug out and gassed like the vermin they are.

"Our" government cares NOTHING for the cost of this circus, because they get money off CTRL+P. Zero cost. An easy way to make the MIC players rich - and ensure PAC contributions. Full circle. You and I aren't in it.

Sun Tzu was brilliant, and was arguing caution to government. His government. Government he supported. Any government.

But there is no room for logical, thoughtful reason in an insane asylum. Which is what we have become.
