Officer tases and slaps teen over bus confusion — turns out he was on the right school bus​

On Thursday afternoon, a chaotic event unfolded as one of the students at Langston Hughes High School was tased by an officer over confusion about bus assignments. The incident was captured in a video made by another student and has since gone viral. The 18-year-old student, Lanier Johnson-Hunt, spoke up on Tuesday, saying that he did nothing wrong and was on the right bus when the altercation with the police happened.

Fulton County Schools also released a statement that confirmed the incident. The statement mentioned, “Fulton County Schools can confirm a Fulton County Schools police officer deployed a taser during an incident involving a student on a bus. The incident is being taken seriously and is currently under review. The officer has been removed from active duty pending the outcome of an investigation.”

President Donald Trump attacked the “Radical Left” in his Christmas message, talked to children about stopping “Bad Santa” from entering the U.S. and boosted dozens of posts on Truth Social, some promoting conspiracies, as polls suggest he’s facing an increasingly dissatisfied America.

On Wednesday evening, the president and First Lady Melania Trump took part in the traditional stunt by the North American Aerospace Defense Command, which tracks Santa Claus’ flight path while taking calls from children.

When a caller mentioned the tracker, Trump said they were tracking “Santa all over the world” and wanted to make sure “Santa is being good.”

Opinion: Trump blames others, but never himself, for America’s problems​

When the U.S.-backed Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba that was designed to overthrow the communist regime of Fidel Castro ended in spectacular failure in 1961, President John F. Kennedy didn’t blame anyone but himself.

“I am the responsible officer of this government,” Kennedy said at a news conference. He noted that “victory has 100 fathers and defeat is an orphan.” The American people admired Kennedy’s acceptance of paternity. His approval rating in a Gallup poll soared to 83 percent.

We have never heard President Donald Trump accept responsibility for any defeat or failure. But Trump is quick to praise himself effusively for accomplishments — both real and imagined — and to angrily denounce anyone who questions his self-proclaimed brilliance and greatness. At this writing, his approval rating in the RealClearPolitics average of polls is only about 43 percent.

Trump administration terminates DC public golf lease, eyes Trump takeover​
