The Humiliation of Kristi Noem​

When a conspicuous presidential project goes awry—in this case, federal immigration agents killing two protesters in Minnesota—someone typically loses their job. And for much of this week, Kristi Noem’s deportation from the Trump administration seemed imminent.

Public confidence in the president’s handling of immigration has been plummeting. And as the secretary of Homeland Security—and the ostentatious face of President Trump’s high-profile ICE and Customs and Border Protection dragnets—Noem has seemed the logical sacrifice. Washington loves a good Cabinet deathwatch, just as Trump loves a good public expulsion. Or at least he used to. By this point in his first term, his “You’re fired” bit had migrated seamlessly from TV to politics: His White House had already bled out a national security adviser (Michael Flynn), press secretary (Sean Spicer), chief of staff (Reince Priebus), chief strategist (Steve Bannon), and secretary of Health and Human Services (Tom Price).

A spot-on read of the situation, IMHO. I've long argued that State Secession is a solution to our division, but the author dismisses it. And at this point, I'm ready to concede - things have gone too far.

Where they are at, I believe, is to what State Secession was intended to AVOID. That is, governmental breakdown, leading to anarchy...which leads to chaos, which leads to vermin such as Trotsky, Lenin, Mussolini, Franco...the whole long list...their ilk, taking over. With a beat-down public accepting it.


Leftists, globalists and their allies are not going to discern between MAGA, libertarians and centrists. They will ultimately treat everyone as an enemy worthy of elimination.

They’re also not going to divide and in-fight the way some conservatives predict, at least not until they’ve gotten rid of us first.

In the end, the fate of the US and western civilization stands on the precarious shoulders of a conservative movement that has the means to fight, but not necessarily the will. They are forever waiting for the perfect Hollywood scenario in which they can defend themselves in good conscience in a fair fight where they are the clear and undeniable “good guy.” They are forever waiting for the perfect moment to rise up – A moment that will never come.

Patriots have also planned and trained for decades under the pretenses that conservatives would be the insurgents, not the counter-insurgency. Counter-insurgency is much more difficult and requires far more resources. But guess what? You don’t always get to choose the wars you fight. Sometimes the war chooses you and you have to adapt.

There are certainly individuals who will do what they can. I will be among them as will many of the people I know.

But the great question, the great unknown, the unpredictable factor is whether or not average Americans will step off their porches in large numbers and send a clear message that they will no longer tolerate the chaos.

Ex-husband of former first lady Jill Biden accused of killing his wife​

WILMINGTON, D.E. (KYW Newsradio) — The ex-husband of former First Lady Jill Biden is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of his wife on Dec. 28 at their residence in Wilmington.

New Castle County Police took 77-year-old William Stevenson into custody on Monday after a weeks-long investigation into the death of 64-year-old Linda Stevenson after a domestic dispute at their residence on the 1300 block of Idlewood Road in Wilmington.

But Tom and Alex explored a link regarding Venezuela that we haven't been fed - it's not drugs but DRUG MONEY. Alex believes it's Venezuelan infrastructure aided by Toronto banks.

In a roundtable discussion, it can be hard to separate speculation and conjecture with demonstrable facts - but it does explain TrumpCo's obsession with Venezuela, as well as his looking north to Canada.

So...that explains the moral certitude his people have. But to grasp the concept, whether true or partially true, involves considerable background information - which the government is not putting out.

White House deletes racist Trump post depicting Obamas as apes​

WASHINGTON, Feb 6 (Reuters) - A video shared on Donald Trump's social media account that depicted Democratic former President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama as apes was deleted on Friday, following criticism that the U.S. president's post evoked racist imagery long used to dehumanize people of African descent.

"A White House staffer erroneously made the post," said a White House official, who declined to be named. "It has been taken down."

The statement came hours after White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt described as "fake outrage" a wave of negative reactions to the video, including from several prominent Republican lawmakers.

The Black Panthers vs. ICE in America​

For Radio-Canada/Rad, journalist Julia Pagé and director Frédéric Lacelle traveled to Philadelphia to meet with members of a group that called itself the Black Panther Party for Self-Defense. Armed with AK-47s, party members patrol their neighborhood to defend citizens against police violence.
The group has since changed its name to the Black Lion Party for International Solidarity.

Robbers block Italian highway and blow up security van before firefight with cops and car chase​

Heavily-armed robbers posing as police blocked an Italian highway and blew up an armoured van during a brazen raid in southern Italy, before exchanging gunfire with police.

The attack unfolded on State Road 613 in the Puglia region, where masked gunmen armed with Kalashnikov rifles shut down the road in front of shocked motorists.

Italian reports said the gang blocked the road by setting a truck on fire, while using vehicles with flashing lights to impersonate police and move in on the armoured van.

Dramatic footage shows the bandits crouching behind a car as the armoured vehicle explodes on the road, with flames and debris billowing into the air.

UN is waiting to see how much the US intends to pay of the nearly $4 billion it owes​

UNITED NATIONS (AP) — The United Nations said Monday it’s waiting to find out how much of the nearly $4 billion the United States owes the world organization the Trump administration intends to pay and when the money will arrive.

U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned last week that the world body faces “imminent financial collapse” unless its financial rules are overhauled or all 193 member nations pay their dues, a message clearly directed at the United States.

Unfortunately, for the not-stupid, those prizes spill over.

EXAMPLE: I lived as a late-teen-young-adult, in various shorefront communities on Lake Chautauqua, Chautauqua County, New York. Winters there are HARSH. Cold comes early and hangs around till April. Ice fishing - yeah, with the shanties, and the liquor bottles - was, and probably still is, A Thing.

The county seat used to hold a Winter Carnival every mid-January. The usual drunkenness - let's face it, there's not much else to do when the daily high is 18F. There'd be snow-machine races - ON THE LAKE - and various stunts. Outdoor cooking, just to smite Mudder Nature in the face. And, Tall-Truck stunts.

The lifted bro-dozers, with giant wheels...usually with hundreds of BOLTS drilled into, protrucing from, the tires. Perfect ice-traction wheels. They'd race around the ice surface...

BUT

The ice was sounded, maybe with X-rays. It would be eight or more inches thick. You could put the whole football team, cheerleaders, parents, and their cars, on that ice.

They were very cognizant of the dangers. Every year, some jag-off would drop a snowmobile through the ice. Run too early, or do a Last Run through the rotten late-season ice. To their credit, nobody, in my memory, lost their lives - back then, even drunks knew not to do dam-fool schitt without having help close by.

But then, fast-forward 20 years - to the 1990s - and the Woked-up sheriff put out an ODOR...BANNING cars, trucks, snowmobiles, from the frozen lake surfaces.

Sure. Because it's all about SAFEEEE....TEEE....

And those who had money and equipped trucks or snowmobiles...would go elsewhere, or stay at home. Not renting motel rooms, or drinking at taverns afterwards, or planning events...all the touristy things.

While Sheriff Gerace was doing this idiocy, the landmark independent hotels were going out of business.

I'm more a believer in Darwinism. If someone is so stupid as to not sound the ice before driving out there, he deserves to die.

And a fifty-year culture of winter-carnival events need not be sacrificed because no safety-cost is too high, as the Safety-Officer Karens will tell you.
