You would almost certainly like George MacDonald Fraser's series of comedic Flashman novels... especially one called "Flashman and the Redskins" <-- I've read it a dozen times, and laughed (and learned something new) every time.I happened into The Arc store about 20 years ago. Of course I bought one and read it in one day. I went back several times to buy all the rest that showed up.
