This one is a bit different. It's WWII history concerning British gold, Fort Knox, the cash & carry policy and Operation Fish. Interesting and a nice bump for the thread.

The post about was about British gold in WWII. The one is about Polish gold in WWII.

Was US Gold Repatriated To Refill Fort Knox?

There's been a lot of mysterious activity in the gold and silver markets over the past few months, and an increasing number of prominent analysts who continue to question whether the narrative that it was all just about the tariffs is really true.
And in this morning's show, Vince Lanci considers whether US gold may actually be getting repatriated to refill Fort Knox.

I thought they said, "Give us back our cabbage rolls!"

The golabki looks tasty. Is rice a big part of Polish cooking?

Any idea when the audit of Fort Knox will take place?

The problem with golabki is some people use cheap meat and it gets mushy. Really need to spice it right with lots of paprika and use good whole tomatoes.

It’s all there, honest . We showed it to Elon.

Dont make such a fuss it’s only worth $42 an ounce …..

Thread was started in February. Is this still gonna happen?

The more time goes by the less likely it is to happen IMO. Seems like this would have been a very easy task. Fly someone out, open up the vaults and let them have a look. Bring in some media for a photo op and done deal.

It smells like there is gold there, but not enough and most of it is owned by somebody else?

Rumor has it, a lot of those bars are .900 fine gold made of melted down US gold coins...but getting a real audit, nope.

They should.mint new coins from that gold. Mint the whole Liberty and Indian series. I would.pay a.premium for those especially in high relief.

Sponsored by Reps. Thomas Massie (R-KY), Troy Nehls (R-TX), Addison McDowell (R-NC), and Warren Davidson (R-OH), the Gold Reserve Transparency Act (H.R. 3795) would require a full assay, inventory, and audit of all United States gold holdings.

Importantly, H.R. 3795 will also require full disclosure of all transactions involving America’s gold, including any purchases, sales, loans, pledges, leases, swaps, and other encumbrances, dating back 50 years. Such activities have not been publicly disclosed.

Representative Thomas Massie announces the introduction of H.R. 3795, the Gold Reserve Transparency Act of 2025, legislation requiring the Comptroller General to conduct and publicly release a full audit of gold reserves held by the United States. The Comptroller General's audit will include gold held in "deep storage" locations such as Fort Knox, Kentucky.

"Americans deserve transparency and accountability from the institutions that underpin our currency," said Rep. Thomas Massie. "In February, President Trump said 'We're going to Fort Knox. . .to make sure the gold is there.' The Gold Reserve Transparency Act of 2025 will provide the full disclosure President Trump seeks and the American public deserves."

The Gold Reserve Transparency Act of 2025 further requires the Comptroller General to conduct subsequent audits of the nation's gold reserves every five years. In addition, the Comptroller General is instructed to report on the sufficiency of measures currently in place to ensure the physical safety of the gold reserves, to provide a full accounting of encumbrances against the gold reserves, and to document any sales, purchases, disbursements, or receipts over the past 50 years that have affected the gold reserves.

Rep. Massie's legislation is cosponsored by Rep. Warren Davidson (R-OH), Rep. Addison McDowell (R-NC), and Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX).

(2) an analysis of the sufficiency of the measures taken to ensure the physical security of such reserves;
(3) a full accounting of any and all encumbrances, including those due to lease, swap, or similar transactions presently in existence or entered into at any time during the past 50 years with respect to the gold reserves;

The Sun is happy to endorse the legislation introduced in the House in respect of America’s gold. The measure — the Gold Reserve Transparency Act — would create an audit of gold held at Fort Knox and other sites where America’s monetary metal is supposed to be stored. It’s the latest measure inspired by the work of Congressman Ron Paul, when he was a member of the lower chamber.
