So, I watched the DOW jump eighty points on absolutely nothing this a.m. It went from 12,980 to 13,060 in a matter of around eighteen minutes on infinitessimal volume. Nothing is making sense today whatsoever. I see various DOW components bouncing around like a ping-pong ball, but there is no rhyme or reason to any of it. There are no fundamentals any more, just algo traders skimming pennies off in the churn and burn. :paperbag:
 
Bloomberg mentions this AM that volume of late has gone from anemic to pathetic. With no volume, even small trades can push things all over.
