Even if JPM is called out by the CFTC, nothing substantive will be done, and they will simply move the manipulation to Hong Kong or somewhere outside US jurisdiction. In addition, they can set up a shell company any time they want and just feed cash in through a back door to do teh same thing. It's all so dirty that I feel like I need to take a bath in a tub of bleach to get the stench of it all off my body.

Turns out the NZ warrant wasn't even legal, and they just shipped all that stuff to the US feds, since they hadn't any idea what it was or what to do with it - and guess what, I'm going to have to search google cache for some articles that have *already been taken down by the feds* from Ars, on it. Free speech is just for certain corporations...not all of them.

My point was trying to be (maybe I'm not speaking so well) is that if they want you, no law appears to stand in their way...but if they don't, no law you break seems to matter...

So, if the US federales can do this in a country against its own laws, almost with no explanation even, why do we need all these ACTA, SOPA, and ad nauseum other laws anyway?

Oh, we let them get away with it when they told us it was terrorism and we needed to render guys, that's it, so now they have a license to break all the other laws too.
