In honor of interesting websites that have come up in conversation on this board recently such as:

www.khanacademy.com
and
Thanks to Spiralpiece: http://singularityhub.com/

I create the a post for interesting websites, both precious metals and otherwise, around the world wide web!

Rules:
1) One post, one website with why it is interesting
2) No advertising to get anyone to buy anything, but your personal blog is great

http://www.ino.com/

I get my spot gold updates here, free - right on the front page, click gold to get a chart you can customize. Under the "markets" tabs you can get all the futures too - they have a section just for metals. Decent free charts.

I happen to belong to "market club" which they own. While their "trade triangles" work better in some markets than others, the charting there - and the free historic data downloads rock.

I have been enjoying the websites that everyone has been posting; keep it up!

For today's offering, I give you:
http://www.sovereignman.com/

It is essentially a blog written by a guy that is a nomadic businessman. He looks for opportunities all over the world and writes about a lot of different countries he visits. While outside the comfort zone of many, it does open your eyes up to the possibilities outside your country of birth.

Very cool site indeed Benjamen. I have read some of his writings re-published on other sites, but thought the name was just a moniker, not the name of an actual site. Thanks Benjamen.

I listened to an interview of Harvey w Chris Martenson. I also saw the video of him at the CFTC hearing a while back. I dont spend a lot of time on the whole manipulation area but apparently there are people in the metal community that think Harvey doesnt really understand the mkts well. Was some giant thread on Chris Martenson's website, apparently many people think his arguments didnt make sense.

I did think it was odd that his was at the CFTC hearing and he could hardly get out sentences to explain what he was talking about.

Interesting, I don't read his predictions much. I simply use his blog as a source of data.

People interested in security in general should have this site on their lists.
http://www.schneier.com/
Originally about crypto, but it's broadened out in the past few years. Some of the posters on this site are "heavy hitters".

I may or may not have posted this before, but I always find something good to read on http://theautomaticearth.org/Front-Page.html

Stoneleigh and Ilargi offer up commentary on the state of the earth, talking about everything under the sun. More recently they have had some very well written pieces on the Europe problem.

the best site hands down for econonmic, enviromental, overpopulation, peak oil, pestilence, war and geopolitics, and a thousand other topics. Very closely following climate change, which will become VERY VERY obvious to everyone soon. All economic models out the window. by invitation only:

fair comment Jay.
Its just that we all either came via ZH or monitor it closely anyway ....

Just seemed too obvious to mention but any browsers / newbies may not have made this connection.

Where I live the climate changes several times a day.

And yes, it is VERY VERY obvious.
