Satellite imagery from Vantor has now confirmed earlier reports of an “aircraft massacre” at Khatami Air Base (8th Tactical Air Base), located northeast of Isfahan, Iran, following strikes against the base this past week by the Israeli Air Force. According to imagery, both before and after, roughly a dozen aircraft with Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force were targeted and destroyed, including several F-14 Tomcats and other fighter/strike aircraft, in addition to a number of hardened aircraft shelters that were penetrated and destroyed using “Bunker Busters” by Israel and/or the United States.
 

Johnson says Iran supplemental funding bill 'inevitable'​

DORAL, Fla. — Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) said Tuesday that a supplemental funding package for the Iran conflict is “inevitable” as the military operation stretches into its second week.

“I think the supplemental funding bill for the military is inevitable,” Johnson said during a news conference at the House Republican retreat in Doral. “We don’t yet know what the details of that will be. As you know, in the process submitted by the administration and Congress, and then it’s deliberated upon in mass, we were anticipating a supplemental even before the Iran operation began. So that will happen. The timetable is yet to be determined.”

They painted planes, helicopters, and drones on airstrip, America and israel successfully bombed them, they also threw in a bunch of old broke down planes....the Iranians laughed themselves sick.

The sailors don't want to sail into any battle, they aren't willing to die for Israel either. The US navy isn't willing to escort them either....Obviously we need American navy personnel to sail these ships through the dangerous areas.
 
The propaganda is getting thick again. The new saying is now we have to stay and finish the job.

Of course they never say what that really means. I think we know though. We need to spend a few trillion and a bunch of years in country to accomplish pretty much nothing.

With that in mind... any ship traversing the Strait will be attacked most likely by a drone.

We need an inexpensive defense against a drone army.

Lasers? Electronic interference?

Either that or targeted bombing the hell out of Iran more than it has been so far?

Good discussion. However it is the 1st I have heard about Trump going to Russia for advice. Anyone else hear anything about this?

Iran is a pretty large country and they have about a gazillion miles of mountains with shit buried everywhere. We could spend years bombing the hell out of them and by the time we finish hitting every potential target we would have to start over because they could rebuild the 1st ones.
I don't see Iran as being all that sophisticated when it comes to war stuff but they do have home field advantage and they have prepped for this for years. Short range missile tech has proven to be fairly accurate as well.
In addition to that they also have help from Russia and China. Russia especially has probably given them some good advice on how to deal with the current situation.

The fact that Trump has already told Putin he can sell all the oil he wants is also a clue that trump is feeling the heat. Americans that are already tapped are now having to pay higher gas prices and those higher gas prices are going to make their way into the overall economy and price just about everything higher.

Trump can claim victory and pull out and leave Israel to fend for themselves. My preferred scenario but he wont do that. He somehow has to get Iran to agree to a ceasefire. Iran doesn't want a ceasefire because that only leads to the US and Israel coming back after they resupply things.

Then we have the neocons who absolutely love war and the profits it brings to them. They definitely don't want this to end anytime soon.

Latest polls were 52% approve of the action in Iran. Thats down from 98% a week ago (Which I never believed anyway).

Midterms right around the corner as well and nothing will doom the midterms like body bags coming home.

Trump saying we could end this in 1 day with the nuclear option. (Not an exact quote) Is he losing his mind? Does he really think that anyone on the planet doesn't know we have nuclear weapons? Is he just trying to scare Iran? Does he even realize that China and Russia also have nukes and they are backing Iran?

And this is why Iran wants a nuclear weapon. If they had one or 10 then no-one would be attacking them the way we are now.
