We can't hang our hats on Tomahawk missiles as the end-all be-all when they're using $30K drones.

Obviously, we have to adapt and create a new weapon that will take out the drones. Laser?

VERDICT: Trump Tells NATO 'Never Forget' — Then Used Iran to Prove It

In this Saturday Wrap, Barbara Boyd argues that President Trump’s cabinet remarks and Saudi Investment Forum comments mark a “verdict” on NATO and the broader transatlantic system that has dominated the global economy for 40 years. She contends the Iran War is fundamentally a financial story: after Europe offered only a post-hostilities role policing the Strait of Hormuz, the U.S. moved to replace Lloyd’s of London by using the U.S. Development Finance Corporation, maritime reinsurance, and Central Command to secure Gulf shipping. Boyd says this shift amounts to U.S. control over a critical energy chokepoint—captured in Trump’s “Strait of Trump” line—reshaping how oil flows to Asia. She previews Trump’s May 14–15 Beijing trip, framing U.S.-China relations around shared industrial traditions linked to Sun Yat-sen and rejecting a “cold war” narrative.

Right / wrong :dontknow: Correct / incorrect :dontknow:

No clue how correct or incorrect this is. But since it's about T it very possible they hit the nail on the head. In the end you need to come to your own conclusions. Let's just hope (and pray) T doesn't start talking about throwing nukes.

The REAL Reason Trump Did This To Iran… (It’s Not What You Think)

Rep. Jim Himes accuses Trump of "flat-out lying" about negotiating with Iran

Democratic Rep. Jim Himes, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, on Sunday accused President Trump of "flat-out lying" about negotiating with Iran last week amid market turmoil and the ongoing war.

"Last Sunday, he realized, 'I've got a financial cataclysm in the market,' so he just made that statement up," Himes said on "Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan" after Brennan asked if he thought Mr. Trump hadn't been engaging in diplomacy because he hadn't been briefed as a member of Congress.

Just a little food for thought.

I am 28 years old, and I have lived my entire life suffocating under the Islamic Republic. I am writing this from the streets of Tehran, nearly a month into a war, and let me tell you a truth that the outside world cannot seem to comprehend:My biggest fear right now is not the missiles.

My paralyzing, everyday terror is walking out my front door and hitting an IRGC checkpoint. It is the sickening knot in my stomach when the people I love step outside, knowing they might get dragged away by these monsters. Nothing is, was, or ever will be worse than this regime. You cannot convince me otherwise. I am bleeding myself dry.

I spend every ounce of my energy and money fighting this digital blackout, buying VPN after VPN just to force a connection through so I can be the voice of my people. And what do I see when I finally get online? Analysts sitting safely abroad telling us, *"You haven't tried all the paths yet!"

*Are you out of your minds? The last "path" we took, over 40,000 of us didn't come home. On that path, a live bullet flew centimeters past my ear and right past the head of the most precious person in my life. I almost lost my best friend forever on that asphalt. What goddamn path is left to take?

Why do you trample on the spilled blood of my compatriots? Why do you spend your time fighting Crown Prince
@PahlaviReza instead of listening to a crushed, bleeding nation?

Last night, I watched his speech. Do you know what I felt? Relief.

The profound relief of hearing an honorable man echo the exact pain and demands of his people, with more precision than anyone else. And I felt pride. I felt absolute pride in the truth, structure, and beauty of his words. Do you know how heartbreaking it is that pride is a foreign, alien emotion for an Iranian today? He gave that back to us.

We screamed his name with all our might. 40,000 of our fallen heroes signed his leadership with their own blood. Stop fighting our choice. Listen to us.

I feel bad for Iran's people but this war isn't about them ; Its about a bunch of fanatics Developing a 100% in house WMD program. One that starts at "A" and goes on to "Z". They have huge uranium deposits, have several ways to enrich, have the technical expertise to deliver as well as the eventual ability to miniaturize and probably MIRV 2 stage war head Bus's giving them the means to threaten most of the world with "H-bombs".

And they would use them, I believe. This should have been dealt with 60 years ago.

Worse is if we pulled out now, not even willing to pay more for gas, how could anyone believes American promises of a nuclear umbrella? Most of all given our proficiency for electing brain dead morons like Joe Biden and/or Kamala Harris. Imagine Joe being woken up at 0300 and in his jam-jams being told Israel has been wiped off the map and NYC has incoming ? Joe would curl up in a fetal, start sucking his thumb, and demand his favorite Teddy Bear and an ice cream.

I mean if your a Democrat more power to you, its a free country. But dont you think they could have picked a better time to paralyze our border defense and airport security then now ? YaThink ?

CONFIRMED: RFK Jr. Says Trump Is Finishing What JFK Started

Susan Kokinda argues that RFK Jr.’s CPAC remarks—praising Trump’s use of power and saying JFK and RFK would back Trump on Iran, Ukraine, and rebuilding the middle class—cut through media narratives and signal a break from post–WWII imperial management. She says Britain and allied institutions are being sidelined, citing Chatham House’s warnings about UK limits and a “Not So Special Relationship” under Trump 2.0, while Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt convene in Islamabad to open U.S.-Iran dialogue without the UK, EU, or NATO. Trump names Vice President JD Vance lead negotiator, presented as an anti–forever war interlocutor who has challenged Netanyahu’s regime-change expectations. Kokinda links this foreign-policy shift to a broader “American System” agenda: Peter Navarro’s protectionist trade revolution and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s rejection of Bank of England–style Fed models, framing it as American System versus British System.

It's a real shame that people don't understand history.

Susan Kokinda above explains what's really going on behind the scenes.

Trump is resolving world issues by getting Iran to the peace table and removing the Mulla nut jobs.

The Coercive Sequence: How Trump’s Iran War Actually Works

Why negotiation and war are part of the same strategy and what critics still fail to see

The Misreading of the War

In recent weeks, much of the media commentary on the Iran war has followed the same line. Trump, we are told, entered the conflict without a strategy. His goals are unclear. The Islamic Republic is still functioning. It is still firing missiles. Its leaders are still speaking in the language of defiance. Therefore, the argument goes, the United States must be failing. Much of the commentary has described the war as lacking a plan, marked by confusion over its aims, and driven by shifting goals. Some have gone further, arguing that even an American victory over Iran would be bad for the United States and for the wider world.

This reading is wrong. The war is not the absence of strategy. It is coercive diplomacy: terms first, pressure second, pause third, then renewed pressure from a stronger position.

To judge the war only by missile launches, angry speeches, and the continued movement of a battered regime is to miss the larger picture. What critics call a war without a strategy is, in fact, an attempt to end twenty years of failed policy.
