Interesting read. Hope to hell it doesn't happen any time soon.

Take a Look Around. Signs of a Dying Empire. Will The Villagers Resist or Just Shoot Each Other?

We have kept our thesis the same for over three years. Throughout history (or at least since 450 BC Peloponnesian Wars, Athens vs. Sparta), Emperors, Kings, Presidents, and their Military might have rigged the economy via the following playbook.

  • Expand the empire for raw materials (natural resources)
  • Enslaved the losers to build the castle walls, aqueducts, roads, farms, and mine for gold and silver.
  • The treasures go to the King / Emperor, and the King/ Emperor kicks back some to the soldiers and bureaucracy (like tax collectors, lawmakers, etc.
  • As the empire expands, the list of enemies increases.
  • Then a new empire emerges under the guise of "reform" but quickly settles into a Ruling class vs Working Class system. The wealth divide is always around 95% to rulers and the workers fighting over the last 5%.
  • Specific merchants, industrialists, and corporatists are always invited to the table. As long as they feed the beast (campaign donations), they get a favorable return on investment.
We've seen transitions in recent history.

I used to think it wouldn't happen within my lifetime - that it would be something my kids would have to endure after I was gone. Now... I'm not so sure about that.

Agreed. Besides the usual economic parallels, the rise in degeneracy and perversion also tracks nicely with the fall of Rome. When the leftists finally get their dream of legalizing pedophilia, which is their goal, the circle will be complete. And, let's face it, this has been the goal of Barry Soetoro and those behind him all along. The complete destruction of America as we know it. Looking at the last three years, I would say they have kicked their plans into overdrive.

They don't ring the bell when you hit Peak Empire.

It's not resources or even worker-versus-bourgeoisie that cause the collapse of empire...it's MORAL ROT.

How many times had Americans been warned by the Framers, that our situation was always tenuous. Our Constitution, Adams wrote, was intended for a moral and religious people, and not suitable for governing any other.

Franklin was even less optimistic. His closing remarks, read by another, as Ben was ill, remarked that the Constitution should likely serve well for a score of years, but would end in tyranny, as the people become corrupt and require despotic government.

A woman who met him on the street, shortly after the convention adjourned asked him, in a friendly matter, what sort of government it was that his group had decided upon. To that, Franklin replied: A republic, madam. If you can keep it.

And here we are. I'm not a Bible-thumper; but a believe in a Higher Power is part of the package of HUMILITY - the understanding that there are things that are bigger than you are. That we are all equal before that bigger entity or force.

That's a belief that Lincoln had and Bubba Erectile Clinton, simply did not.

That's something that the bottom-shelf grifter, Joey Ten-Percent Bidet, never had. And now, his brain gone, those running him are even less humble - they are not known to the public, and thus, they have no fear of being held to account.

So, with God, fellow-man, one's family and children...are all rejected, and the driving forces are thrills, pleasure, money-without-work, and the twisted joy of causing pain to those who are the Elites' lessers...we have the sick sense of values that are emerging.

"Environmentalism" replaces God. Abortion is the sacrament - sacrifice of infants to Save! The! PLANET!! They have evolved a twisted ideology, whereas the medical infrastructure was to be co-opted by their Savior, Government - and used to cleanse the planet of Useless Eaters.

THAT is what Gates, Soros, and that twisted homosexual who's Kaiser Klaus' Chief Technology Officer, all have in common.

And that is why the West - which is not empire, but an interrelated set of nation-states sharing a common past and, in the past, a common set of values...why it is collapsing. FAST.

The 'Pukes are letting them because they get their cut from lobbyists and insider trading.

One day everything they own will be worthless along with everybody else and there will be no place to hide when the mob comes for them. If they flee to another country or switch sides they will be put up against the wall as soon as they are no longer useful.

A teacher asks her class if anyone can name the three branches of government.

Only one child raises his hand. The teachers says, "Okay, little Johnny, what are the three branches of government?"

Little Johnny says, "Criminals, Lobbyists, and Pedophiles."

The teacher says, "Now, Johnny, you know that's not right."

Little Johnny replies, "Tell me about it."

If it is the aim of democrats to completely destroy this country, I would say they are on track and doing very well.
It's always been their aim. They hate the Constitution and every ideal that the nation was Founded upon.

The Founding Fathers were not about empire building. They were about escaping the crony crown monarchy and how the crown treated its subject serfs, soldiers and taxation to expand "The sun never sets on the British Empire"

Ben Franklin: "A republic, if you can keep it."

The Republic is in jeopardy. The communists, the globalists, the banksters, etc. can steal elections with impunity, own the fake news media etc..

It will be like the fall of the USSR, gradual then all at once. Basically impossible to predict, you could come close several times but not quite hit the threshold. Could be next year, could be decades or MUCH longer. These things deteriorate a lot further than anyone thinks possible before they really matter.

Just like this gold market, confusing inevitable with imminent is a classic trap.

The US could easily have another century @ the top of the pile, it has some formidable natural advantages that give you way more latitude than most other countries.

Just some food for thought. Take it fwiw and dyodd.

From the link:

By most accounts, Karl Rove was correct about the American empire. Nineteen years ago, America had the strongest military in the world, but the economy was showing signs of weakness. Back in March 2000, the stock market bubble burst, resulting in the NASDAQ or “dot com bubble” crash. Still at that time, most of the country believed former President Ronald Reagan as he referred to America as “the shining city upon a hill.”

Due to its military might America was able to project its power and impose its will upon the world.

Rove’s arrogant assertion that “…when we act, we create our own reality…” is a major part of the problem that the American empire is facing today. What gets lost in this assessment is the historic reality that all empires run their course. The European, Greek, Roman and British empires tell the stories of tragic endings. A common and significant factor in their demise was arrogance. Instead of recognizing the changing of global dynamics, the geopolitical landscape and making the requisite adjustments, they believed they could manage the world by sheer force, power projection and will.

When the middle class shrinks to a certain point that will signal the end. There could also be a number of other triggers such as suspension of gold exports, food shortages, & energy shortages among others.

1. Invasions by Barbarian tribes

We currently have that going on right now on our southern border. Thanks, democrats.

2. Economic troubles and overreliance on slave labor

Constant wars and overspending had significantly lightened imperial coffers, and oppressive taxation and inflation had widened the gap between rich and poor. In the hope of avoiding the taxman, many members of the wealthy classes had even fled to the countryside and set up independent fiefdoms.

Perhaps some were receiving millions from Communist China and Russia and not paying taxes on it? Hunter ring a bell?

3. The rise of the Eastern Empire

The fate of Western Rome was partially sealed in the late third century, when Emperor Diocletian divided the Empire into two halves—the Western Empire seated in the city of Milan, and the Eastern Empire in Byzantium, later known as Constantinople. The division made the empire more easily governable in the short term, but over time the two halves drifted apart. East and West failed to adequately work together to combat outside threats, and the two often squabbled over resources and military aid.

4. Overexpansion and military overspending

As more and more funds were funneled into the military upkeep of the empire, technological advancement slowed and Rome’s civil infrastructure fell into disrepair.

Perhaps they were sending all of their money to Ukraine while their own country burned?

5. Government corruption and political instability

The Praetorian Guard—the emperor’s personal bodyguards—assassinated and installed new sovereigns at will, and once even auctioned the spot off to the highest bidder. The political rot also extended to the Roman Senate, which failed to temper the excesses of the emperors due to its own widespread corruption and incompetence. As the situation worsened, civic pride waned and many Roman citizens lost trust in their leadership.

Wow. Hard to imagine that happening today, isn't it? :ROFLMAO: Good thing our banana republic has no corruption or incompetence.

6. The arrival of the Huns and the migration of the Barbarian tribes

The Barbarian attacks on Rome partially stemmed from a mass migration caused by the Huns’ invasion of Europe in the late fourth century.

Must be why the One World Order is so intent on keeping our southern border open.

7. Christianity and the loss of traditional values

Loss of traditional values. I wonder how many genders they had?

8. Weakening of the Roman legions

For most of its history, Rome’s military was the envy of the ancient world. But during the decline, the makeup of the once mighty legions began to change. Unable to recruit enough soldiers from the Roman citizenry, emperors like Diocletian and Constantine began hiring foreign mercenaries to prop up their armies.

Perhaps if they had offered their soldiers free sex change operations, things would have been better?

I ran across this post on another forum. I found it fit very well...

Hello from Canada.

If you have ever wondered what the death spiral in the last days of the Roman Empire looked like. It looks like San Francisco, NYC, all the dysfunctional lawless Democrat plantations in between, along with the normal places being dragged into the cesspool now.

This isn't just an American problem, every country in the Western World has a city or cities where you can revel in a fully immersive third world experience.

From the systemic grooming, open-air drug markets, mindless violence, rampant crime, unchecked corruption, homeless encampments, re-emerging and new exotic diseases, and every other third world nightmare in between, we can thank the clueless people who voted for this.

How long will it take to clean up the filthy mess Obama and Biden made of America? Maybe never if the gullible “free” stuff class keep voting Democrat.

Allowing clueless "free" stuff Libs to elect seditious Libs that loot the public treasury to enrich themselves, their cronies, and pay for the "free" stuff vote has consequences.

The only way to fix this is to repeal the "right" to vote for the taxpayer funded "free" stuff people.

If they are not intelligent enough to take care of themselves, then they are not intelligent enough to make informed decisions at the ballot box.

Why does the future of America matter to normal people across the planet?

Because without a sane and prosperous America, there is no Free World.

Just an unbiased statement of facts by an informed Canadian observer

Voting won't matter.

The Free Schitt ends when the Fake Money debt-Ponzi collapses.

And we're just about at that point.

Politicians' Diversion Tactics: A Smoke Screen for Theft

In Paramount's 1974 iconic film The Godfather (by Mario Puzo and Francis Ford Coppola), a brilliant scene portrays how Vito Corleone rose to power by killing a ruthless crime boss in Brooklyn.

The Feast of San Rocco is a religious celebration held on the 16th of August. It was during this fiery festival that Vito Corleone killed Don Fanucci. Robert DeNiro's character, Vito, understands the festival fireworks will conceal gunfire. The firecrackers created a diversion.

Magicians also use diversions. Magicians have worked out how to control what their audience sees - or perceive they see. This works in vanishing acts, card tricks or even a mentalist can fool and con the public.

People are not just deceived by sight but are led to believe the magician has extraordinary powers. It's a style of trickery for the senses of sight, sound, and even thought.

When the government steals from you, they do so using covert tactics.

Always look for a diversion. We're bombarded by them.

Interesting take...distractions and chaos to hide the systemic failure and implosion.

I don't disagree with it. In fact, I'd posit that one REASON the Banksters and Globalists want nuclear war with Russia - want it badly enough to deliberately provoke it - is to cover their Everything Collapse. If the whole Western world is burning, no one will be asking where all the money is. Davos is SAFE.

That said, the point of that essay is to sell gold. Now, I don't disagree in buying gold; but with today's rigged market, it's not a good short-term play. The price of gold as a medium of exchange, will not normalize until the collapse unfolds.

And with the collapse will come chaos...no manufacturing; looting and violence. Gold will be of little value there, also.

Long term it's a safe bet; but what shilling essays like that do, is get the wrong kind of buyer in, and then annoyed or worse.

The Inverse Relationship Between Pageantry and Prosperity

The Ottoman Empire was a superpower for over 500 years (from the 14th to the 20th centuries.) It controlled chunks of Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.

Sultan Abdul Hamid II (reigned 1876-1909) was a paranoid and authoritarian ruler obsessed with maintaining power.

Aside: Speaking of preserving control, it looks like the 2024 erection election will “feature” Biden vs. Trump (any parallel here?)

In the Ottoman Empire, The Sultan used military parades to project an image of strength and stability and intimidate his opponents.

His military parades were some of the most elaborate and lavish. They featured thousands of troops, marching bands, and artillery.

The sultan often rode at the head of the parade, dressed in a dazzling uniform and mounted on a magnificent horse.

Unfortunately, there is no Russell Crowe to save this mess. Part of the problem is they are trying to manage the economy instead of allowing market forces to kill off bad businesses, therefore everything becomes less efficient. Then factor in record government spending that generates nothing and you have the cluster we are living in.

All those soldiers who sacrificed themselves at Normandy and other battlefields or at Midway would be disgusted if they were living today.

You're not going to like what comes after Pax Americana

Yesterday, as you may have heard, Hamas launched a massive surprise attack on Israel, crossing the border from Gaza and seizing or assaulting towns nearby after a huge rocket bombardment, killing hundreds. Scenes of Hamas soldiers taking Israeli captives into Gaza have proliferated across the internet. Israel has responded by declaring a state of war, and the fighting between the two sides promises to be more destructive and vicious than anything in recent memory.

As many have pointed out already, this attack is probably an attempt to disrupt the possibility of an Israel-Saudi peace deal, which the U.S. has been trying to facilitate. Such a deal — which would be a continuation of the “Abraham Accords” process initiated under Trump —would make it more difficult for Hamas to obtain money from Saudi benefactors; it would also mean that every major Sunni Arab power recognizes the state of Israel, meaning that Hamas’ image as anything other than a client of Shiite Iran would be shattered.

The Insiders Know What Is Coming

Nathan Rothschild, a wealthy banker, was eager to learn the outcome of the Battle of Waterloo as soon as possible. He had a network of agents and couriers spread throughout Europe and paid them to bring him news of the battle as quickly as possible.

On the evening of June 18, 1815, the day of the battle, a Rothschild agent arrived in Brussels with news that Napoleon had been defeated.

Rothschild immediately sent a carrier pigeon to London with the news.

Behind the Curtain: Rattled U.S. government fears wars could spread

This is a new column by Axios CEO Jim VandeHei and co-founder Mike Allen, based on regular conversations with White House and congressional leaders, CEOs, and top technologists.

Never before have we talked to so many top government officials who, in private, are so worried about so many overseas conflicts at once.

Why it matters: We don't like to sound dire. But to sound a siren of clinical, clear-eyed realism: U.S. officials say this confluence of crises poses epic concern and historic danger.

Behind the scenes: Officials tell us that inside the White House, this was the heaviest, most chilling week since President Biden took office just over 1,000 days ago.

  • Former Defense Secretary Bob Gates — who ran the Pentagon under presidents of both parties, George W. Bush and Barack Obama — tells us America is facing the most crises since World War II ended 78 years ago.
  • He explains the White House's system overload like this: "There's this gigantic funnel that sits over the table in the Situation Room. And all the problems in the world end up coming through that funnel to the same eight or 10 people. There's a limit to the bandwidth those eight or 10 people can have."

Central Banking Warfare Leaves Villagers in Dire Desperation

Central Banker Warfare Model, with historical examples from Rome, Spain, France, Portugal, and England, we can project the potential trajectory of the US debt-based warfare model into the immediate future:

Timeline: Precious Metals Warfare Theory. Central Banker / U.S. Debt-Based Warfare Model

Rome - Ancient Times

  • The expansion of the Roman Empire was sustained by a continuous need for resources, resulting in a burdensome debt load.
  • As currency debasement and devaluation took hold, the Roman economy became increasingly fragile.
  • Resource Scarcity always means robbing or invading others.
  • Rome's territorial expansion was supported by vast resources, including timber for metal smelting.
  • As critical timber reserves dwindled due to overexploitation, the Empire's ability to maintain its military and economic power eroded.

Just some food for thought. Take it fwiw and dyodd................

Many have asked me over the years what we jump to for safety if stocks are crashing, bonds are crashing, and housing is set to crash some more while inflation is still rising so the purchasing power of the dollar is crashing. When all the bubbles (hot-air balloons in size) are falling, where do you go?

I’ve always felt like I should try to offer something, but I don’t have any answers better than anyone else’s. Still, having heard the request over the years, I feel like I should make some attempt for everyone, and this is that attempt.

Simply put, when everything crashes, there are no safe bets, so the goal of my own writing has never been to lay out the best prepping plans, as that is not my expertise, but to provide the very best road map I can as to what is going to happen and how and when it will play out because a dependable map is a vital tool.

Thanksgiving brings to mind not only turkeys, family, and friends, but also should help us recall the remarkable ideas and philosophies that helped shape, and indeed were, the foundation for the United States of America as a Republic.

In that spirit, we will forgo for this week the series we have been exploring on cycles and the examination of budgets and deficits, debt and taxes, and the future crisis they will bring if not dealt with. Rather, let’s reflect on what we want our world to look like after that crisis. What should be our guiding principles?

Most of us are aware that the founding fathers read Locke, Hume, Smith, et al. But not many of us are aware that there was another series of papers that were just as influential as the works of more famous philosophers. They were clearly a part of the background for the Federalist Papers and, later, our Constitution.

America’s undying empire: why the decline of US power has been greatly exaggerated.

For more than a decade, people have been saying that the era of US dominance is coming to an end. But in reality there are still no other global players to rival it
by Tom Stevenson

Thu 30 Nov 2023 07.00 EST

In recent years, the idea that the United States is an empire in decline has gained considerable support, some of it from quarters that until very recently would have denied it was ever an empire at all. The New York Times, for instance, has run columns that describe a “remarkably benign” American empire that is “in retreat”, or even at risk of decline and fall.

Yet the shadow American power still casts over the rest of the world is unmistakable. The US has military superiority over all other countries, control of the world’s oceans via critical sea lanes, garrisons on every continent, a network of alliances that covers much of the industrial world, the ability to render individuals to secret prisons in countries from Cuba to Thailand, preponderant influence over the global financial system, about 30% of the world’s wealth and a continental economy not dependent on international trade.

To call this an empire is, if anything, to understate its range. Within the American security establishment, what it amounted to was never in doubt. US power was to be exercised around the world using the “conduits of national power”: economic centrality, military scale, sole possession of a global navy, nuclear superiority and global surveillance architecture that makes use of the dominant American share of the Earth’s orbital infrastructure.

Today’s articles contain some strong content about how the LGBTQ+++infinity community is actively seeking to corrupt all of society by forcing everyone to parrot their delusions regarding gender change. They actively seek to twist the minds of children into participating in the sexual corruption of their story tellers so the story tellers can feel better about themselves and to wrench society into declaring their delusions are normal and factual reality.

“Two is better than one” is a nice saying, but it really depends on what you’re describing. Two hurricanes or earthquakes aren’t better than one. Just one disaster at a time will suffice, thank you very much.

The same holds true for man-made crises like the debt fiasco we’ve been discussing. Last week in No Way Out I said we’ve missed our chance to avoid it. We are simply not going to do what it would take to get the federal debt under control—like it was as recently as 2001—until we have no other choice. I have said it before, and I truly believe it, it will take a crisis to force us to act on the deficit and debt.

Move to safety?

It relies in cutting the toxic cancers out of what used to be the United States - those cancers, meaning the parts of the former nation where rot, corruption, moral nihilism and Woke hatred, are the order.

Those places that are still dedicated to what America once offered - Rule of Law, representative government, sound money, equality-not-equity-not-Diversity...a true meritocracy...they need to form a More Perfect Union.

Excluding the Coastal Elites, their sin-centers, and the lawless cities.

Secession/State-Nullification/"National Divorce."

There is NO WAY to make Woke insaniacs, crypto-fascists, De-Growthers, media liars, and Davos-Puppet politicians, into true Americans. There in fact is no real America - it's gone. The collapse just hasn't come to our level yet - but it will, and fast.

The argument is, that is what Davos wants - a destroyed America. Well, sometimes, what evil persons want, they get. If someone wants me dead, and aims a handgun at me and pulls the trigger...then I'm dead.

America the global superpower is gone. Of our own actions. Deal with it; suck it up.

Smaller freedom-oriented republics can be made of the less-toxic regions. What happens to the Coastal regions, I neither know nor care. Socialism doesn't do well, ever, no matter how beautiful are the people and the lands. The only thing to come of collectivism is rot, corruption, privation and chaos, born of envy and moral rot.

The Fall of The West Kicks Off on The Periphery.

Jan 30, 2024

Today we will look at history and in particular the fall of the Soviet Union back in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Back then the dominos started falling on the periphery or in the Eastern Bloc or Warsaw Pact countries. Eventually, by the end of 1991, the center of the Soviet Union had collapsed.

Today the Western or Anglo-American Empire is fast approaching its demise as the debt burden overwhelms the whole construct. My argument in this report is that the periphery of the EU is starting to crumble as farmers protest against the Western globalists' plans for Agenda 2030 could be the undoing of the EU and eventually the West.

During the Collapse of the Soviet Union Mikhail Gorbachev was the key figure and I think the key figure in the current collapse of the West could turn out to be President Trump.
