Mexican 50 peso piece

Anybody own one ? its really a pity they are so expensive because they are a Lovely coin. https://bullionexchanges.com/gold-at-spot-50-pesos-mexican-gold-coin-au-bu-random-year OK I see they are 1.2057oz of gold and not 1 oz. I wonder how that works out price-wise ?

I'm a big fan of the Mexico mint. I love my silver Libertards tho I dont own a lot, but I do have some interesting dates. And of course the gold Libertad is a handsome coin too. Maybe next year I'll add some Mexican gold to my stack.

Buy ONE they are very nice, however current resale to a dealer is spot -2% like most foreign gold and they are harder to move because they are 1.2 oz. Bullion Exchange sells them at spot sometimes. I have one for comparison plus other Mexican pesos. Any gold I buy now is usually @ spot and 50/50 fractional.

I have no Libertads and am kicking myself for not buying silver monster boxes @ $22 per coin pre-COVID. I like the design, but the finishes were sometimes matte or washed out. I though they may have had some quality issues and pushed the product out the door anyway just like they do with appliances and automobiles now.

I almost bought some gold pesos, but the smaller denomination a while back, but I found a better deal on US fractional commemoratives.
