Mar 14, 2025

How did the SS grow from a tiny part of the huge SA into the most powerful force in Nazi Germany? From a small bodyguard unit for Hitler, to its genesis as all powerful in Germany following the Night of the Long Knives, this is that story.

Martin Bormann Escape - A New Theory

Feb 28, 2025
I've uncovered new evidence that may point to an aerial rescue mission to snatch Martin Bormann out of Berlin on 1 May 1945. Also, I've found some hints in archival material that Hitler may have been murdered or at least helped to die on 30 April 1945, on the orders of Bormann in order to facilitate a timely escape from the Berlin bunker, which was threatened with imminent capture by Soviet forces. Intriguing questions, and I think a very interesting video!

Britain is a nuclear power, but even a cursory examination of that claim shows that it's far from an independent nuclear power, reliant on foreign-manufactured and maintained missiles and worn-out ballistic missile submarines that should have been replaced by new boats long ago. Whether year-round nuclear deterrence is even possible has also been challenged. Find out the true state of Britain's nuclear defences - you will probably be shocked and surprised!

U-Boat Attack 80 Miles Up A River! Nijmegen Bridge 1945

Mar 27, 2025

In January 1945, an extraordinary operation occurred in a Dutch river 80 miles from the sea - a U-boat attack! And not just a single attack, but a huge operation involving over 20 submarines attacking the famous bridge at Nijmegen. It was the largest inland U-boat operation of WWII, but one of the least known.

How deep-cover Russian spies fooled the West for a century

In the autumn of 1933, MI5 agents compiled a depressing inventory of a London hotel room, with effects including six empty bottles of gin and a used plane ticket to Switzerland.

Shortly afterwards, the occupant of the room, alcoholic Foreign Office official Ernest Holloway Oldham, took his own life.

The list of his possessions is preserved in his file at the National Archives in Kew. It also includes a box of liver pills, a packet of cigarettes, five and a half pence, some dirty clothes, and a notebook listing foreign addresses including one for a Mr JP, poste restante in the French town of Trouville.

Not a lot to see. Can listen in one tab, play around the forum in a different tab.

Richard Wolff is Professor Emeritus of Economics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a visiting professor at The New School, where he works on economics in the Marxist tradition. This is Richard’s eighth appearance on Robinson’s Podcast. In his last appearance, episode #243, he and Robinson discussed 2025 and the first weeks of Trump’s presidency, as well as what’s to come. More particularly, they discuss the irrelevance of Donald Trump, his domestic and global policies, China, narratives on the right and left, and the future of the United States. In this episode, they continue the discussion by diving deeper into recent events, Doge, Elon Musk, the relationship between Trump and Hitler, and important historical Marxists. Richard’s latest book is Understanding Capitalism (Democracy at Work, 2024).

*Some interesting comments below the vid on youtube.

*******Edit to add: The link posted contains a link to the full interview. I'm halfway through the full vid. It's a bit long (3 hours) and, in my opinion, well worth my time. Some good stuff. On thing..........the main theme is "it's all a show" when it comes to Trump & Musk.
