This MOSLEM...is SELLING...BEER? To his campaign workers?

Islam - and I know this, having ridden a carrier into Jebel Ali for a long weekend of fun (not) and entertainment (of sorts)...I can tell you the finer points of Islam, Infidels, and alcohol.

Jebel Ali had what they called "Seamen's Centres." These (two of them) were places where merchant mariners (and Uncle Sugar's minions) could go in and have a beer or twelve; buy a loose woman (or facsimilie thereof) and otherwise behave like sailors. Now, to get in, you had to pass an Islamic guard. He required identification; required EACH person to sign a statement stating he was an Infidel and Enemy of Allah and was going to Hell. Only then could he go in and have a Butt Blight. And look at skanky middle-aged Russian and Israeli whores.

The bar staff were all Indian. Foreign guest-workers, hired to manage alcohol from its arrival to its storage to its sale. And to clean up behind the drunken sailors. Those Indians were full of ridicule and contempt - for the Moslems, for us, for anyone but each other.

We had one guy, who had just been assigned to our carrier (permanent transfer, COD delivery while we were doing donuts in the Gulf) who hadn't been briefed and thought Allah Snackbar was a late-night convenience store. He unpacked; a day later we're in port and he has liberty. He rushes to the Seaman's Centre, has a few beers, and buys a couple to take out.

The Indians were LAFFFING....

He got two blocks with beer in hand, before the Islamic Police picked him up and quickly put him in the city gaol. Which was more like a dungeon. He was two weeks getting word out - during which time he missed Ship's Movement, was marked AWOL, and otherwise given negative checkmarks.

Once released and arrived, he was hustled into Captain's Mast, where his NJP was pretty severe. Busted in rank, which meant his re-enlistment was voided (hadn't yet started) which meant he was high-year-tenured out. Which meant he'd just lost his career after 12 years. Which meant he took a flying leap off the fantail. (The recovery was documented in the Discovery Channel video, "Carrier: Fortress at Sea.")

Point I'm proffering is, Islamicists take alcohol VERY seriously. And with great force.
 
I'm pretty used to big city imbeciles but even I am surprised at NYC electing this moron as mayor. He has zero experience at running a big city. His plan has zero chance of actually working. He's going to inflict serious long term harm to the city and basically killed the chances for the American dream to ever work there.

He's the final nail in the coffin of the NYC middle class and get this. While his foot soldiers are all 3'rd world rejects and idiotic college kids getting degrees in worthless subjects that barely qualify them to pour coffee at Starbucks ; His big money people are bored white rich house wifes who will see what socialism means to their income. The Gay and transexual ones who voted for him and sent him money will find out the hard way what Islam thinks of their lifestyle. So will the ones running around with "Che" Guevara T-shirts and Berets. Che despised the alternative sexual community and he either jailed or executed them by firing squad.

Many Cuba just sent to America during the Mariel boat life. Castro emptied his jails and mental institutions of every mongrel he could. I know guys, MP's, who got stuck being assigned to that detail. They said it was like a zoo with all the Tony Montana's. Carter should have bombed Havana for that and set the stage. Every time we get a weasel of a Democrat in office they let the border crumble. O'bama "the Irishman" and Clinton at least had the brains to send them back but melon head Biden and his auto-pen let us get invaded and then enabled an army of hysterical leftist Trump deranged white woman attack ICE. Whom are just doing their jobs.

Yup.

They've chased non-Leftists off. Remember Limbaugh? Cuomo Junior and even RINO Bloomberg turned on him, as he was selling his Manhattan condo. Selling it because he'd quit working out of WABC studios. He had been in the habit of doing some of his shows at WABC, which was where his engineer and producer were stationed at, and some at his home in Palm Beach. But he kept the condo - not sure, for years, if the Florida move would be permanent.

He was taxed, punitively, for every day he did any work at WABC. To the point it didn't make any sense to try. I guess he moved his production staff to his then-new Florida studio.

But, he put the apartment on the market; and he was roundly vilified by all of New York government. Remember? They said something along the lines of, how people like HIM should be forced out of New York.

Slowly, the message got to many of the middle class, in Queens, Staten Island, other former safe-havens. And what's taken their place, numerically, are the Undocumented Democrats that Tammany and its various stooges, all the way to the governor, are sheltering from Federal Law and are supporting. With Federal money.

So. They ARE going to vote in someone just like the leaders of the hellholes they left. And they ARE going to vote.

What IS going to happen, is that NYC will be Detroited. You'll see the financial industry move elsewhere - probably Miami. You'll see jobs disappear and then lower-middle-class residents. You'll see whole neighborhoods collapse like Apocalypse movies.

That will be their bottom. But, as Detroit is experiencing (but not learning from) there's no easy way out when the brains and the productive people have all been driven out.
 
Just watched a presser with Mamdani and T. They had a meeting at the White House beforehand. Was pleasantly surprised. It was the best T presser I ever watched.

They weren't just cordial to each other, they were friendly. Real friendly. T was friendly to the press too. Not one bad word, no crazy looks. I'm looking forward to seeing these two working together. Time will tell.
 
I never thought that way...but, hell. The populace is so whacked in the head, now, the center of the Bell Curve is deep in the Crazy-Stupid matrix.

That includes a refusal to believe what's out in the open - the corruption of the entire election system in a majority of counties/voting districts.

In any event, it doesn't matter. Look what voting against this Woke freakshow got us.

As for Trump getting all lovey-dovey with Comrade Mamdani...I think it just shows his mental impairment, at this point.

Not that he's doing it. How he got to be doing it. Mamdani, who obviously talks a good line of BS...probably threw Trump some flattery, and he lapped it up like a dog on a bacon trail. His newest BFF.

Meantime, Massie is going to fight Trump-backed opposition in his primary, and MTG just quit, effective January. Can't say I blame her...this is a time when honest and patriotic persons in government, stand alone and isolated, abused by agitators.

The hell with this whole mess. You have to hit bottom before you recover, and we've still a long way to fall.

Mamdani effect is seeing more people moving to New York, not leaving it​

A month after Zohran Mamdani’s stunning victory in New York City’s mayoral election, the mass exodus of wealthy residents that landlords and real estate agents—especially down in Florida—had predicted has so far failed to materialize.

Instead, sales of luxury homes in the Big Apple—priced above $4 million—were up by 31 percent in November compared with October to 151 properties, according to the latest data by real estate brokerage firm Olshan Realty.

Another firm, brokerage Douglas Elliman, reported a similar increase, saying that a total of 176 contracts for properties priced at $4 million or more were signed in November, up 25 percent from a month earlier.

Where else in their new land, could they get cards that give them all this money...AND eat in restaurants FOR YEARS, every meal...AND live in hotels like they saw in movies...AND when they smash their rooms or steal stuff, no one stops them?

*** I have no idea how well he'll do or if he'll be able to carry out a lot of his campaign promises. One thing I gleaned from this speech was that he seems like a decent human being. Not one word of hate for another person or any group. Only positives vibes.

If the people of NYC actually think public transportation can be run for free they need to ask themselves where the money to buy and maintain the trains and buses will come from. How about the money to pay the engineers and the drivers? Will be interesting to see how he does.

In most countries, mass transit is heavily subsidized. Private cars are so taxed to make up the difference. Of course their systems are usually safer.

Interesting sidebar note: Free public transit can work.

Under specific circumstances.

Missoula, Montana has had their buses free to ride for about eight years, now. It apparently works...but, there are specific characteristics.

--It doesn't have ghettos or a large violent urban class.

--The population is small - 80k give or take. MOST people in the city limits are of the Insulated Middle Class - government employees (NWS, NPS, NFS, FAA-ATC, and the State University population) and legal and banking presences. One large industry is the Washington Companies - which runs aircraft and ocean-shipping services, as well as a compliance-technology services for "environmental issues." (Used to run Montana Rail Link, as well). A family-run company - and while Old Dennis Washington preaches Diversity, he has found ways to avoid its yoke in his own upper management.

And, the city is about 3.5 miles across. AND, plenty of places for the (imported) "homeless" to coop. Big NGO homeless shelter - new construction. Plus the Sally. Plus, the cops won't arrest anyone under several large low bridges. No reason for the bums to go far. No reason for them to board buses and run afoul of a Constutitional-Carry Montanan, of which there still are many.

It works - in such an environment. Not where you have dozens of miles of "No-Go" "Immigrant" areas, and spread out. I dare anyone to try walking the length of Manhattan, much less out to Long Island.

Money always moves to where it's treated best.

The largest piles, move first. That's the "Rich" - the Coastal Elites.

Followed by the traders and CEOs. They tend to take their corporate offices with them, too. Look at how Boeing moved...first to Chicago, where their acquisition McDonnell-Douglas was HQ'd; and now to Virginia, outside Washington.

Because Seattle leadership has the same brain damage as Tammany leadership has.

Anyway...once the corporate offices and the NYSE move out of NYC...THEN go the Muddle Class. First, because so many of their jobs will have left; and second, because life has become just-not-worth-it, a world of $6k monthly rents, thousands in bridge and tunnel tolls each year, anti-car laws and regulations, murders on mass transit...a dirty, dangerous, chaotic world with no jobs.

It just takes time to convince a waitress or school teacher to pull up stakes.

The mud hominids won't move, not in large numbers. All they know is chaos. They'll see it as improvement - their new home looks just like Calcutta or Port-au-Prince.

personally i believe the lions share of taxes are paid by higher end wage earners (w-2 income)........the very rich and astute entrepreneurs that have good accountants and many methods of minimizing taxes do not pay much in taxes

as a entrepreneur for many years i have paid considerable gross taxes but as a percentage of my income it was minimal all legally as during my working years i was a annually finnacially audited individual and bonded

personally i think the fairest tax would be a consumption tax ....and i think the most deplorable taxes are property and personal property taxes and should be banned

Agree with the conclusion...but...let's think it through.

Who are the rich, today? This ain't 1865, and this ain't 1904. Not even 1940, when road-paver Henry Kaiser broke through...and he's not even a good example; he was an industrialist who made things...but, mostly for the government. Everything from Liberty Ships to the Boulder (Hoover) Dam to military jeeps.

The "Rich" of the past, made things, for people or businesses. A.G. Bell made a working telephone. Andrew Carnegie made affordable Bessemer-process steel. Henry Ford made cars, cheap enough a sharecropper-farmer could afford one.

No, today's "Rich" are connected to GUBBERMINT. They get GUBBERMINT MONEY, selling ACA-compliant "Health Insurance" policies; they make medical devices mostly paid for by government monies (Medicaid, or VA, or hospitals subsidized by gubbermint). They run universities that get absurd tuition payments out of Student "Loans." They run banks, laundering FRB money-printing schemes; they sell stonkx, mostly to institutions laundering Fed inflationary-fiat-production. Or, of course, they run NGOs, doing unbelievably-destructive things, secure in knowing there will never be legal consequences.

So. The Rich are rich because gubbermint, their sponsor, their lifeblood...MAKES them rich.

Knowing that, do you feel bad that they're taxed at moar than 60-percent? So, we tax them at 95 percent, the way that was done before Reagan. So then they'll just drop out.

...wait...is that BAD? Do we NEED more money-changing swindlers; any more Dimon-like corrupt bankers who subsidize losses but pocket windfall profits?

This nation is falling apart, and it goes FAR deeper than just a prole hatred of "The Rich." We're in a moral vacuum.
