Trump to nominate Oprah for Fed Chair. New cars for everyone.

The good thing is the budget deficit is actually dropping by $1k per second during the "government shutdown."

The rats at the local hood Walmart are targeting people in the parking lot with full carts because their EBT cards aren't working.

Is that actually happening now?

I waited to see it this weekend; I found no reports. Locally, we don't have a large cadre of no-loads, but we do have some (any amount is too many) and the first of the month is never a good time to go to the grocery warehouse.

Nothing ugly or out-of-ordinary this wick-end. I did have to get a filtered-water refill and some odd stuff, yesterday morning...just the usual parking-lot chaos, where Californicators outnumber natives, and drug-users outnumber safe-drivers.

I always have a .38 in my pocket when I grocery shop. Model 638 - Airweight Bodyguard.

Yeah, I said that five years ago.

And look what happened. My rent price got stimulated right out of my budget.
City were I own a duplex (St. Paul) passed rent control last year. They complain about housing, but now no one is building. Next door in Minneapolis they are building.

I know...I know...it's a complex situation, a lot of moving parts...but it all comes down to Financialization and fiat money, printed up like it cost nothing.

Try explaining that to the rubes.

Me, I get it. We have to PAY for the fifty-year party of blowing up g--ks with our printed-fiat; of our transforming our universities into circuses and our turning quasi-military intelligence agencies into laboratories to mind-rape selected young people. And then using that same money-printer to buy mediuh oligarchs to use their networks to do the same to the (m)asses.

All this is EXPENSIVE, and now the deferred bill is coming due. For us, it's gonna mean a lot of cheap food and subsistence living, before we work through it. Which we never will unless our midwit Elites are put to the axe.

Brother works around St Paul. Place is going downhill. He about got car jacked there last year driving home. Jumped a curb dukes of hazards style to get away.
