I just found a place her in Greenville SC called "Upstate Gold Exchange" that deals in all kinds of precious metals. Note, they are NOT a pawn shop. All they handle are metals. They carry bars, rounds (ASEs, etc...). I'm so excited!!! I checked 'em out yesterday and traded my fractionals for an ASE. They use KITCO and base their prices off of them.

I would go into their place with something to take notes. Figure out how much over spot each item you are interested in is regularly. Next, compare this to a few places online.

I have a similar place near me that has decent prices on gold, but over charges for silver.

I know a local PM store that does business online if your looking for some Penn. The guy is also a financial advisor and is able to sell Paper PM as well. he is a pretty nice guy and has really fair prices
