  • With the Iran war now in its fifth week, Amazon is adding a 3.5% fuel and logistics surcharge for third-party sellers in the U.S. and Canada.
  • The surcharge takes effect April 17, according to a notice to sellers.
  • “Elevated costs in fuel and logistics have increased the cost of operating across the industry,” Amazon wrote in the notice.

Oil prices resume gains after Iran accuses U.S. of breaching ceasefire deal​

  • Oil prices rose on Thursday after Iran accused the United States of violating elements of a two-week ceasefire agreement.
  • Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Iran’s parliamentary speaker, said three elements of Iran’s 10-point truce proposal had been violated, including Israel’s ongoing strikes in Lebanon.
