I liked Seattle before the looney left took over, but the pacific northwest rains too much for me.
As to where I live, north of MickyMouse land, well south of Gainesville, hurricanes blow out before they get me...so far.

I spent a lot of time in the Northeast forests, as a kid.

I found Seattle beautiful. And the frequent rains...not that different from what you'll find in the Maine-Vermont-NH-NY belt, there along the St. Lawrence.

With time, I s'pose it would get tiresome. Well, you could drive inland a hundred miles into Central Washington's near-desert; or vacation in more organized fashion. Vegas would actually be attractive, if you're burned out from the rain.

I don't think anyone's disputing that.

I've never been there, but have known a few people irl from there, and the way they've described it it sounds really nice.

@Bottom Feeder lives in a beautiful area of the country. No doubt about that.

It's a lot of the politics in his neck of the woods that serve to mess things up, while the natural environment there seems great.

Here, it's (moreso) the opposite. I'd love to have mountain range 5 minutes out of town.

We're ok with the popo having to occasionally bust a car window to tase a criminal if it means preventing them from committing further criminal acts.
....and do it with no cigs offered. Jail here is a nicotine-free experience.



As for the rain, per my understanding, the soil there handles the wetness a lot better than in a lot of other areas of the country.
Ie: you can still get out and do stuff even with wet ground. In a lot of places, when the ground gets wet, it gets sticky muddy.

Or at least that's what I've heard about their dirt from people who have ridden mtb and downhill trails in the PNW.
Do that here and your tires collect mud like a snowball collects snow.
Ie: you won't get very far before you'll be lookin' for a stick to scrap mud off your tires so they can roll again.

they know about it already.
Last year four thugs (from 'across the river') busted up the coin store in a daylight raid.
nobody got shot, nobody got hurt
the thugs all got arrested
It's been a business there for 38 years
But no longer —
My favorite LCS closed up shop.


(If I woulda been there with a thompson, they wouldn't have got away with that) <GRIN>
 
Its not like there are no dark skinned peoples here in West Seattle, they are just normal citizens not troublemakers.

Get rid of all the dirty communists and it could be a nice place again. I also understand there is gold in some of those streams and rivers.

You have under two percent, they're a novelty. And they bask in the love and adulation the self-loathing White cucks pour over them.

You get them over ten percent, and they start chimping out.

I have seen it. In Cleveland's suburbs, which used to be able to control influxes. In Wisconsin's medium cities.

In Minneapolis, which used to be one of the safest cities. In Toronto, so safe it was boring...oh, yeah, they had a few well-behaved 2Gs about, too. Libburls are the same everywhere, and one primary characteristic is, fascination with the animalistic races and self-hatred.

In Denver 35 years ago. Even then, Calistan was burping out white professionals from university indoctrination centers. Then the Crips and Bloods came out to sell drugs to their kids. Then Denver became the same hellhole the white professionals left.

It's happening here, now, as I sit here.

You see it as validation of basic decency. I see it as an early symptom.
 
If you can't hold it, you don't own it.

Goes for land, too. If you're not armed, only pawed, you will soon be the former owner.
 
Looks quite pleasant. I like the garage door, it probably adds to the open feeling when the weather is good.
