I just want to warn everyone that you miss out when you do not keep money in a CD, savings, or bank. You miss out on the extraordinary and reliable compound interest- such accounts are also INSURED- so you do not have insurance either when you do not use a bank.
I am watching closely the Soc Sec cola- the actual number comes out on Tuesday- range seems to be 1.3%-1.8%- with 1.5% the latest guess.
I hope it is generous and hits a number that rounds up. (for me)
