Specifically which ones? I know the one from little barry soetoro is accurate.

Nope

But those ideals have also been tested -- here in Europe and around the world. Those ideals have often been threatened by an older, more traditional view of power. This alternative vision argues that ordinary men and women are too small-minded to govern their own affairs, that order and progress can only come when individuals surrender their rights to an all-powerful sovereign. Often, this alternative vision roots itself in the notion that by virtue of race or faith or ethnicity, some are inherently superior to others, and that individual identity must be defined by “us” versus “them,” or that national greatness must flow not by what a people stand for, but by what they are against.

I don't really know how the outcome is different.

The aircraft will be sold/re-leased to other carriers. The gates will be sold to competitors.

The other carriers will pick up the demand - mostly; of course a few on the bottom of the economic ladder will be priced out. But most people who would travel by plane, still will.

Many cockpit and flight-staff jobs will go with the additional planes. Yes, granted, all these personnel will lose their seniority...but life isn't fair.

I'm of mixed feelings about that JetBlue merger - consolidation is seldom a good thing for consumers. But I'm REALLY negative on corporate bailouts. Sometimes they work, but often at great cost. And what did the taxpayers get out of the Chrysler bailout (2009)? The company wound up sold to Fiat, and with time, many Chrysler jobs, especially in engineering and design, wound up in Italy. Now Chrysler and Dodge are on the verge of elimination and the whole company is wobbling - focused as it was for seven years, on Alfa Romeo and Lancia, two utterly useless makes for Americans trying to get to work every day.

Would JetBlue just have looted what was left of Spirit? Who knows?

I will miss the fight videos...
That brings up an interesting idea. Does it seem to anyone else that videos of physical mayhem seem inversely proportional to the pricing of the venue? (Looting expensive shops may seem to be an exception, but looting may be considered a near-zero pricing.)

Yeah.

Because of the forced "integration" (I have a better name for it, but it would draw the googlebots' attention) that the Elites like to force the Little People to live with.

We have two kinds of venues, of all sorts, these days: The grotesquely overpriced, like Colorado ski resorts or top-tier hotel rooms...and the kinds that used to be available for average people, like a Winter Park ski outing (City of Denver owned) or Carnival cruises.

Back when "We reserve the right to refuse service to ANYONE" was law...the 'groid scum was kept out, and a good time could be had at reasonable price. But, the only kind of discrimination still permitted by law, is ECONOMIC. You can't put up WHITES ONLY signs, but you can charge money that only people who are connected to the gusher of fiat...stock owners, real-estate speculators, government employees...can afford to partake.

Of course even that isn't foolproof. The Disney parks are insanely expensive, yet we STILL have incidents, again and again, of hood rats chimping out while in line for a chance to get a photo with some Somali immigrant wearing a Mickey Mouse costume for the day.

But mostly, it's how the Elites and the climbers, work to keep the mayhem they've deigned to give their lessers...keep it at arm's length, more or less. Brawls at Popeye's are fine. Brawls at their country-club dining rooms, not so much.
