Powerful storms today

Right this minute, we're getting absolutely bombed with rain, hail, lightening and high winds. We're in the crosshairs of two sea-breeze fronts colliding right at the coast and the rain is coming down at about 2 inch an hour rates. The hail sounds like someone is throwing rocks at my building.:flail:

The wettest summer in memory continues in a monsoon like manner, here in blighty.

Ripening corn getting knocked flat and a lot of grass still uncut or rotting in to feed the regrowth.
If only we could find ways of swapping a bit of warm n dry for cold n wet eh ?
