There's prohibitions against putting living persons' images on coins, is there not? Surely that extends to the NGO FRB notes.

Anyway, paper money is about done. The $250 would be handy today - $250 is the new $20 - but soon it'll be firestarter, cheaper and easier to use than eco-friendly NewsGuard-approved "nooze" papers.

If we have to have such a note, put Coolidge or Reagan on it.

Fun fact: The significance of a person in history is inverse to the denomination of the FRB note. Washington, the Father of the Country, is on the $1. Franklin, an active behind-the-scene player whose contributions were significant but indirect, is on the largest surviving note, the $100. It goes up from there - Grant, Jackson, Hamilton and Lincoln.
 

Wilson Introduces Legislation to Print President Trump on New $250 Bill

Washington, D.C. – Representative Joe Wilson (R-SC) today introduced the “Donald J. Trump $250 Bill Act.” This legislation directs the Bureau of Printing and Engraving to design and print a $250 dollar bill of legal U.S. tender that bears the image of President Donald J. Trump.

I'd like to see an end to the 600 requirement for reporting transactions that is supposed to go into effect soon. Thats absolutely ridiculous as our politicians steal billions.
Another thing to do away with or increase is the 10,000 limit on bank transactions before reporting kicks in and also traveling with over that amount. Back in the 70's when that was started you could buy a new car or 2 with that much money. Inflation adjusted that number has got to be at least 40 or 50k. It's obviously to control us because surely we dont believe this is to prevent money laundering or the funding of terrorists which the government seems to do plenty of.

I would also like to see the 250 dollar bill as well as bringing back the 500.

Let's just get on with it. No more pussy - footin around. Every bill, no matter the denomination, will have fearless leader's pic. Every government check (if they still exist) will feature his signature.

GOP rep introduces measure putting Trump’s face on $100 bill​

First-term GOP Rep. Brandon Gill (Texas) has introduced a measure that would require all $100 bills to have President Trump’s face on them.

The legislation, titled the Golden Age Act of 2025, highlights a common sentiment from the president and his allies, which is that his second term will usher in the “Golden Age of America.”
