Will they listen? Probably not, we're probably doomed...
 
I dont know what this new appointments brief is but if he is supposed to maximise the fear component he will probably succeed in containing the thing but at a big cost to your economy.

If he talks it down, he might save the economy but loose a few more vulnerable people.

I reckon, on balance, the US needs someone to talk down the ebola virus .......
