BEV (battery electric vehicles) and the "renewables" will be the next big unwinding, the collapse in EV sales and cancellation of "green" energy projects left right and centre is just the beginning. China isn't going balls deep in securing material supplies as this bloke is indicating, I'm doubtful as China is in a far worse financial position than even the US with its debt load, their unloading of US treasuries is testament to that. They might be making minor moves but their time to shine was pre-spicy cough, they had the money and the military muscle to make it happen.

Now... China (more correctly the CCP) is on borrowed time. I give them two years before that house of cards collapses and sets the country back centuries.

Good. The CCP can go tell hell as far as I'm concerned.

True.

What people don't realise is that the CCP is on the same path as the Soviet Union. How their trajectory differs is that they embraced aspects of capitalism in the mid to late 1980's to delay the inevitable. They did buy a lot of time, but it's almost up. The unwinding and economic paradigm shift that will come from the CCP's eventual demise can't be understated.

How does one get in and out of these rare metals? Aren't the commissions huge on these? I once looked at rhodium, but the buy/sell spread was insulting beyond belief. I can work with small insults, but cosmic radioactive deathly insane destroying insults are not in my project book. As in, lottery tickets look like a better deal.

So, is there any dealer or market for rare metals that are actually reasonable? I suspect not, but show me wrong.
