West Virginia Bill Would Prohibit State Enforcement of Federal Gun Control; Past, Present and Future​

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (Jan. 18, 2024) – A bill introduced in the West Virginia House would take on federal gun control; past, present and future. Passage into law would represent a major step toward ending federal acts that infringe on the right to keep and bear arms within the state and improve on an awful law passed in 2021.

Del. Charles Horst introduced House Bill 4577 (HB4577) on Feb. 13. The legislation would ban any person, including any public officer or employee of the state and its political subdivisions, from enforcing any past, present or future federal “acts, laws, executive orders, administrative orders, court orders, rules, or regulations” that infringe on the right to keep and bear arms.

HB4577 is similar to a bill that passed as law in Missouri.

The passage of this bill would be a huge improvement over the fake “gun sanctuary” law passed in West Virginia during the 2021 legislative session.

Appeals panel says California's ban on open carry in more populated counties is unconstitutional​

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — A federal appeals panel has ruled that a California law prohibiting open carry of firearms in heavily populated counties is unconstitutional.

The ruling was issued Friday by two judges on a three-judge panel for the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. The judges found that the state's policy of limiting open carry to counties with a population of less than 200,000 is inconsistent with the Second Amendment.

Hawaii likes to think they are their own separate country.

The exception being the various Federal welfare and or disability checks arriving on the first of the month that allows them to surf full time.
 
The Constitution only works when the People accept it as law.

Hate to say it; but we're far past that point. In the matter of "gun control": Gnu Yuck has had a blanket handgun ban in place for over 40 years now...two generations. BLATANTLY unconstitutional. Nobody does schitt about it.

We have no Equal Protection. Your protection under the law, lies with what GROUP you are allied with. Which of course is why we see all these (usually, fat) white women with home-job dreadlocks and Quick-Tan skin hues, claiming to be "bwak."

It's over. Because, as Dr. Franklin predicted, "The People (have) become Corrupt and require Despotic Government, being incapable of any other."

Are laws prohibiting vandalism, contradicting laws that allow individuals to buy hammers and spray paint?

A firearm is a tool. Yes, it's a tool used for violent destruction - of animals and of assailants. But a tool, nonetheless.

Ownership of a tool, does not give an individual a right to commit a crime with that tool. Or to use that tool to create revolution or overthrow.

Why not put the criminals in prison, where they CAN NOT use guns to commit more crimes?
If they did their time and we can trust them with guns, fine. Let them free.
If we cannot trust them with guns, keep them behind bars. Until we can trust them with guns.

Common sense has no place in this discussion.

It's about crafting a Narrative and repeating a Slogan that crafts acceptance, if not support, for one more incremental Power-Grab of the Elites.
