I see a handprint or fingerprint on the obverse of that Morgan? Glad I got the big silver rods for my colloidal generator a few years ago.

You don't keep track of your inventory?
Create an excel file with ALL the information on your precious there.
I don't either, buy it chuck it under the bed, throw it in one of closets, leave it in the attic or crawl space.....I told my family the Treasure Hunt will be Epic. Also bank deposit boxes.

Yep I do but I prefer paper and pen and written sloppily so I can read it. I also keep every single receipt. But Ive never laid it all out, or havn't in a long time, because theres to much of it and I dont have the room. I do enjoy looking at the coinage tho but rarely spread a lot out.

Tell you the truth were I younger I'd rather be a collector and make the show circuit. But I'm an old fart, my knee's are shot, and have to leave my loved ones coins that are easy to sell and easy to understand. Ive schooled my kid on the decent numismatics I have, few tho they may be. They will be OK without selling, my advice to him is to keep the core. The ASE's especially. Of course who knows what the market will be like should I linger 10 or 20 years but I believe in planning ahead and right now know my family will be taken care of is important.

Fwiw...and maybe I have mentioned this before but apmex does have a portfolio tool that you can keep a inventory of your specific items ...including cost. .etc and it will keep you updated on the retail (apmex) value of your portfolio real time....if you have a account any apmex purchases are automatically entered, and kept,
