I bought those two bidding on ebay (crystalline silver nugget) a couple of years ago. I was the only bidder on the larger one. Stole it :LOL:

Try a low bid and take it from there. Lots to choose from.
 
I passed up a buy on these about twelve years ago 'cause the guy wanted $1.50 (yes one dollar fifty cents) over spot for em. (about $15.00/Toz at the time, if I remember)

I have kicked my ass several times since then because of that. Almost as bad as my passing up buying an Ivory Buddha carving in Huế several years ago.

Physical PMs are like prime real estate.if you want it and it's available you buy it. It will not always be available at a reasonable price when you want it. Plus somebody else can come behind you and buy it out from under you.

I amwaiting for spot to drop a little more before I buy some pre-1933 gold.

Curious what kind of $ 2nd series lunars brought for you?....I am always in the market for 1st series lunars
Jack squat in this case. $22 bought extra dragons on speculation from series 1 it's essentially just nice generic now. The snakes etc are going to be different.
 
The top left is where onion paper is printed a puzzle on and stuck to coin then hand sawed out with a jewelers sawView attachment 2408
i've also read, these are laser cut...i wonder which method is more prevalent these days

water jets might work...but i'd suppose the technique would be motivated more towards a method that would allow for any easy 'slag' recovery

Thanks for the background info. I was so impressed and was all ready to give you the proper homage till I read this and had the air knocked right out of me. Needless to say, someone has some mad skills and much patience!
