I had not seen a review from Silvertowne, so I thought would put this out there.

Premiums - On a lot of the common products, like ASEs for example, Silvertowne can be higher than the competition. On the items that they mint themselves, they can be competitive and they offer free shipping on a number of their items like smaller bars and rounds. Pricing does not change as often as it does on some competitors sites.

Other - I could not really find a time frame on their site. I ordered over a weekend and received the item a week from that Monday, with Christmas in there. I did email them once to see if they provided a tracking number and nobody responded.

My general opinion is that if you are wanting small quantities of rounds or bars, you can get a better deal through Silvertowne than you can with some of their larger competitors where you would be paying a flat shipping fee. I know there are a lot of people that can make good use of flat rate shipping and buy large quantities, but for the guy that just wants a small collection, gifts, etc., then this may be a good place to start looking.

Payments - Pricing does not change based on payment method. Credit card and Paypal are both accepted.

Had a little bit of fiat in a PayPal account and Silvertown indeed had a better deal for 1oz generic than Scottsdale Silver ($22.40 vs. $26.35) delivered. Nice.

I've placed several small orders with Silvertowne over the last few months and while their shipping times are nothing to brag about, they have always shipped the metal within the time frame that they promised.

Their 5ozt and 10ozt silver bars have serial #s and I like that.

Oh, and they do have different (discounted) pricing for wire/check versus CC/paypal.
