Just read this, a group of democratic senators are trying to sneak in some gun control laws into a cybersecurity bill. Its pretty crazy how this happens where a bill will be passed with all sorts of unrelated legislation attached to it. From the article:

S.A. 2575 would make it illegal to transfer or possess large capacity feeding devices such as gun magazines, belts, feed stripes and drums of more than 10 rounds of ammunition with the exception of .22 caliber rim fire ammunition.

well the good news is the UN gun control bill failed (this time). They'll try again.

Just got an update via email letting me know that the cyber security bill was defeated by a vote of 52-46. :clap:

That vote was for cloture - to bring the bill to the floor for a vote. It's still possible the Senate will bring the bill forward for a vote when they re-convene in September.
