I have, a bachelor party I went to in 2009 had the groom to be strung up on a traffic light in a rather similar fashion.

Denver? Seen quite a few strung out people in that neighborhood.

East Colfax used to be the hoor track in Denver. Capitol Hill to the Aurora line.

Hoors and drug salesmen, and general panhandlers...a few squeegee men.

Not a nice neighborhood.

Somehow cj I can picture you having this info, but slv what in the heck were you doing over there... ?
I lived about five blocks from the capitol...in the Capitol Hill neighborhood, two blocks off Colfax.

Also...I was an RTD driver. With a year's seniority - meaning I was on the extraboard, and got a taste of all the garbage runs. The Colfax bus was a rolling circus.

Looks as if they pasted 'Colfax' street sign on that pic, but it's not far from the truth....

Went to an all night diner on Colfax @ 11pm. Sat around chatting and everything seemed normal, that is until 1pm when the bars closed and the counter culture arrived!
