Bwahahahahaha! ....And that's my official position.

Bail them out with what pray tell! They are just as bankrupt as we are, and they can't print money.

Be careful of conflating the meaning of "should not" with "cannot". Several people have proposed the idea of various euro states just going ahead and printing, because they obviously CAN - they are already, with permission. They could simply ignore the "get permission" step.

I have a bad habit - I'm a smoker. I've used it several times to "get out" of things, like hospitals I'm in when they want to keep you for endless tests that do nothing but run the bill up. Just light up. People come up and say "you can't smoke here".
But I AM smoking - now what? I have to get out - just as I wanted.

It was also a great way to get a break when I did mainframe computer repairs...

Heck, I've even had people tell me I can't smoke on the street! I ask them for money since I paid for that smoke, and they are getting it for free - a ripoff. Yeah, it doesn't go over that well, but it shuts some of them up.

I do believe the caca is hitting the fan over there right now.

It's getting uglier by the hour. The EU is holding back bailout money because they cannot seem to form a coalition government. It looks like they will have new elections in June.

Stay tuned....

Zerohedge tweeted that an EU source is saying they aren't going to withhold the bailout money to greece

The post I read earlier on ZH had several "headline" quotes, and while three of them alluded to the payment, one of them said they would withold the payment. I guess we'll see tomorrow.

Rats, board limit to composing an entire message of smilies. Software doesn't get that a picture is worth a thousand words I guess.

Seeing a report they and going along with the payment but withholding 1.3 Billion.

Basically, they are showing they mean business but dont want to do too much to roil markets.

Btw.. Anyone who doesnt think we are getting qe3, look at the dow components over the last 6 months.

That's fascinating. I was just thinking of the potential for a black market economy after reading this article on Spain a few minutes ago:

http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/05/31/us-spain-economy-idUSBRE84U08N20120531

I would figure that this same scenario would happen here, and actually *is* happening here. I see it myself more and more and, ultimately, I think that this will be another domino in the US. As more and more people work on the black market, barter, trades, etc., that's less revenue for the local, state, and federal gov... and banks.

Love it.

Sitting back and watching what happens. I am sure that and Greece has certain countries second guessing the Euro idea. A unique, but not isolated situation indeed.
