And you are right, household bullion deployment - as limited as it may be - has a big advantage vs any gold backed digital currency: it guarantees our privacy.

Monday, June 2 is the last day of the 89th legislative regular session in Texas. HB1056 made it just under the wire this time!
 
With respect to Texas' HB1056:
 
A glimpse into the future.looks like the $USD will still be transactional and a measure of comparison, but crypto will be used for medium to long term storage of wealth.

Crypto will not be exactly like gold because it is not, but a gold backed crypto is a hybrid.
