Prayer for America​

Often attributed to Paul Harvey, as he would read it on air most Thanksgivings, but the author remains unknown.

Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask Your forgiveness and to seek Your direction and guidance.

We know Your Word says ‘Woe to those who call evil good,’ but that is exactly what we have done.

We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We confess that. We have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your Word and called it Pluralism.

We have worshipped other gods and called it multiculturalism.

We have endorsed perversion and called it alternative lifestyle.

We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.

We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.

We have killed our unborn and called it choice.

We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.

We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem.

We have abused power and called it politics.

We have coveted our neighbor’s possessions and called it ambition.

We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression.

We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.

Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free.

Guide and bless these men and women who have been sent to direct us to the center of Your will, to open ask it in the name of Your Son, the living Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

God will not save us.

If there is an involved God.

Whether there is or not, we have been given/been allowed to divine Natural Law. And we've mocked it, in the name of Woke-ness - which is anything BUT.

Natural Law is pretty clear, historically. Societies that recognize those Natural Rights, prosper. Those who do not, either founder, to the extent that Natural Law is discounted, or crash completely.

You can attribute Divine intervention; it's still much the same thing. Do it the way we've been shown, by the Commandments/Law of Moses/Natural Law, and we prosper. Discard them, and things stop working.

We have not learned. Evangelists have said that America was on the verge of turning the corner, since full-on infant sacrifice was ended in overturning Roe in the SCOTUS. But...since then, CDC has mandated that poison injection for school children - or children going into subsidized daycare - and Ohio, formerly a Red State, has enshrined abortion/infanticide as a "right" in the State Constitution.

The lesson hasn't been learned. And we don't know how badly those of us holding onto traditional values and Natural Law, will be beaten. There's been no victories or reversals as yet.

All there is is a continuing stream of Chinese and Mohammedan invaders through the national borders that the Chinese puppet erased.
